My friends got me hooked on Colour Analysis last year and I think Winter is the best match for me.

My favourite colours are Teal Blue and Blue Green, also inlove with all the violets.
For me it was only hard to determine whether I had warm or cool skin undertone and what helped me the most was the silver/gold jewlery test and it turns out that mine is cool.

The Brights are neutral seasons, so it figures you'd look good in both but better in silver, since it's your dominant.

    Palettes for all seasons:

DISCLAIMER: While this particular representations of the palettes is the most popular, is important to notice that the lady that created them passes away before she could remake them. This means that some colors are missing from a couple palettes, like the reds from Bright Spring.

Later on I plan on making a post for each season, I'll then include more modern versions which are more inclusive.

Should I lump the same version of the palettes for all seasons, or make a post for each season with every version in it?

BONUS: Top 3 Best Colors for each season

I just want to say I love this look, in the spoiler. The doe eyes and light makeup.

I own a lot of makeup but have no idea what to do with it beyond the basics. I don't know much about shading or highlighting (other than light bronzer to highlight) and when I had it done professionally I felt like a clown and wiped a lot off before I felt presentable. Mostly the blush and brows. It looked awful to me.

I look fine with crimson red lips but not a bright red unless I am tan (I stopped tanning). If I am tan I can do some dark shades of orange. Anything salmon looks awful on me though. When my hair is red I just do an auburn brow but the pro made them dark brown and heavy. It threw my face off balance. I am not sure why she chose to do it that way. I like several shades of purple but not to wear, except on lips if my eyes are done right. I own a lot of nail polish and can get away with more color on my nails than face. I can do black or dark electric blue on nails and it looks good but I don't think I look good in any blue usually. I have pulled off a sky blue but my hair and skin were the right shades at the time. I can't wear blue eye shadows at all. I can do teal liner.

I decorate my home in a lot of deep jewel tones and earthy colors. I can often blend well with my home decor. I think @reverie is very pretty without makeup. I noticed her skin tone is more like my ESE sister. She also has pink/reddish undertones. She has a different dad. My full sister has olive skin which is very different from my mom and me. I feel she can wear a lot of color I can't and vice versa.

I rarely wear blush but the look above is a soft, just got out of bed pretty makeup. I probably do this look the most, when I wear makeup now. For years I focused only on eyes and lips, regardless of the color used because I feel my cheeks are too prominent and high. I have Greek features but was born blonde. My lashes and brows are still blonde but my hair has gotten darker. It looks more ash brown to me but I still have natural gold highlights.

My mom is gray now but it isn't even gray. It is the most beautiful shade of silvery white, straight out of LOTR. The colorist told her that women pay a lot to get her color. I had to talk her out of dying it brown once she went all white. She didn't realize how beautiful and unique it is. My grandmother on her side was the same. I don't think my olive skin sister will get that color when she gets older but I will because I take after my mom more than my dad. I will have to make color adjustments when the time comes.

Since I was a teen, I chose to go red (usually auburn but many shades, some awful like strawberry blonde) for many years because I felt it expressed the fire inside me that most people did not realize was there at first. Maybe it was a symbolic warning to all trespassers. lol I wanted an intense color to balance out my introverted aspects. I stood out.

Hair colorists always tried to get me to go blonde. More than one said I had the perfect base color for blonde but I tried blonde a couple times and didn't like it. Maybe because it was closer to what looked natural than the reds or magenta (I did that too). Now I am thinking about going a little blonde, or golden brown, just to try it out but then I feel a lot of the colors I wear now would look different. I did bronze brown not long ago and the color suits me. It also complemented more of the clothes I own than the auburn does. I have more color options with the bronze brown. I liked that.

I can also wear both gold and silver jewelry. I prefer silver. If I do a spray tan I cannot say which looks best. I like vintage copper jewelry which does look good whether I am pale or darker. I can wear some shades of red but others look awful. I can wear white and black. I can only wear some pastels when I am tan (and my hair is the right color) otherwise I feel washed out in pastels. But, creams, beige or tan is fine on me and doesn't look boring. Whatever I wear I always add something to stand out that makes it all work, like vintage emerald green and copper chandelier earrings and taupe knee high suede boots, which I would wear with the colors the girl has in the pic is wearing but I might add a crimson lip stain instead of the pale lips with them. I have women and men compliment me on these boots all the time and ask where I got them. More women than men actually.

My mom is the only person I know who has never worn makeup but when she gets dressed up she looks polished and she stands out. Makeup does not do her any justice. She has pale blue eyes and silver white hair with perfect skin (even at her age now). When her hair was brown naturally it was the same. She could dress up for a night out without a bit of makeup and stand out more than someone in full makeup. Yes, I was jealous. I don't have the blue eyes but we have the same skin tone. My eyes are more amber but I call them hazel. My aunt always said I had "cat eyes" because the color always changed depending on what I was wearing or the lighting.

Does this sound like deep autumn still? @Playing With Fire
