Hello!
There is a simple explanation. This is my regular german passport facial expression. It is mandatory that the expression is neutral, any other expression incl. smiling is not allowed. I'm serious, this is not a joke.
& I'm not very skilled at making SeLfIes. Honestly this was the first selfie shot I ever made with my smartphone. I stared at the screen to spot that damn shutter button.

I tend to hide my teeth while smiling because my teeth are not in a proper shape.
