    PFFFFFFFFFFFFF

IxFp. With a more relaxed expression, I might be able to distinguish T/F.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

    I was thinking ENFp>INFj actually.

I've been told the movie Juno might as well been about me (because of the way she speaks, walks... everything really)

funny info, she was supposed to be Jane Eyre (is that spelled right? (I don't really care ha ha)) in the new movie, but timing was wrong and the role went to Alice-in-wonderland-gwyneth-palthrow-look-alike chick

anyways, my point was Jane E is pretty much my female bench mark for an INFj. Or more her relationship with the guy in the book to be precise

    I think ILE.

As DJ Arendee said, good acting can have a lot to do with your type.

I think Juno's naivete about her relationships with Bleaker and the guitar guy seem a little too genuine for the actress behind the character not to be weak F.

So I disagree with the ENFp typing.

Yes, I am a DJArendee sock puppet account. That is why I type myself as NT and "apparently" hate Beta quadra. It all makes perfect sense! You now know my true form.

you dredged up a 6 month old post, stuff that I've disowned because I was new to socionics at the time. I didn't write that yesterday.

    also:
    http://www.sociotype.com/socionics/functions/Id/

I'm using stereotypical Alpha NT humor because you've already made your mind up. You're going to see what you want to.

I have thought about ILE. It doesn't work. There's no way my greedy, Camarro-driving con-man of a best friend (who I consider my dual) is SEI. There's no way my ESE mother, who has said of me that I "walk around with a chip on my shoulder" even though I'm just acting normal is my activator. If I'm ILE, then socionics is just broken (which it probably is, anyway. It's a pretty ridiculous house-of-cards.). As you can see though, I'm not typing myself as ILI right now. I'm rethinking it, again.

You don't know jack about me or my life, so piss off. Is that Gamma enough for you?

    I love Ellen Page.

I think she's LSE though, and I'm not sure why no one else thinks so.
They can appear Alpha NT at times.

EDIT: nvm I think she's ILE haha. I must have just gotten burned by LSE's one too many times...

Not gonna disagree. And I like her as well, just not as an actress -- not in that movie, anyway.

Interestingly, I have a friend from way back in grade school, who has very similar mannerisms as Ellen Page, and I've been going back and forth between ILE and LSE for this friend as well.

Your typing method seems to be based so much on the externals. I'm just commenting, not criticizing btw. Is this a Se thing? must be.

Check out her Viceland series documentary "Gaycation", where she travels to different countries to find out what its like for the LGBT people living there. There is Ne her, yet the show has convinced me she might be an ethical and not ILE. And going on reports that she is actually very shy and introverted, that would leave EII. Wonder if anyone else would have anything to add. The Brazil episode is particularly relevant for typing.

I currently have no opinion on her type, but the pubic hair dream is clearly about her discomfort/shame about her sexuality.

This opinion is pretty incorrect, try again. She doesn't seem to harbour any inner shame regarding her sexuality, she's even made a so far 9 part, 60 min/episode mini series about gay people, featuring her as the main interviewer. She's spoken face to face with a police officer in Brazil who has murdered dozens of gay people, politicians in Japan and defended her point of view time and again. People who feel shame do not put themselves in vulnerable, potentially threatening situations unless they have a strong inner compass. Perhaps your 1D Ni is showing?

Ahh I see, well then yes things change, circumstances are dynamic and evolving. The Vice documentaries look pretty recent. I still wouldn't be so quick to say the docs are an attempt at alleviating self shame. Shame is one of the first illusions that get burned through when coming coming out from my understanding and talking with other people about it. Decades long internalized shame gone within a matter of months when I started telling people at 22. Shame does not last long in the open especially since coming out, amoung other attributes, is in opposition to a shameful attitude. Shame says "I am wrong/ bad" whilst coming out says "I am normal". Ofc there are those who might still feel shameful I just doubt a woman like Ellen is one of them. I think people often mistake fear of being in new territory... For shame.

Edit: anyway That is everything I want to say on the topic, be well.
