Especially mirage. Subtypes definitely come into play when it comes to compatibility in these relations ime, but it really is a much better relation than it is typically portrayed as.

Platonically, I agree, they're very good ITR. My best friend is an ILE-Ne(H) and I love her to pieces..

Romantically it's terrible!! Even if it seems shiny at first.
Admittedly, the ILEs I dated were never of matching subtype. One was D, the other C.

I think I appreciate non-dual H's a lot because it doesn't feel like their IE usage puts pressure on my own.

they support a weak valued function and do not burden on weak non-valued ones, so nope, not bad
mirage also has 3/4 fitting dichotomies

Mirage creates a dual-like chemistry but in the long run it's really annoying to be exposed to your ignoring function constantly. Mirage don't understand or care about each other.
The decisive thing is not the reality of the object, but the reality of the subjective factor, i.e. the primordial images, which in their totality represent a psychic mirror-world. It is a mirror, however, with the peculiar capacity of representing the present contents of consciousness not in their known and customary form but in a certain sense sub specie aeternitatis, somewhat as a million-year old consciousness might see them.
