This explains why I had so out of place feeling around beta houses. Lots of emphasis on form and space (oddly I beat SLEs in areas such as where graph converges when it is out of sight).
It's confirmed. Betas have haunted houses.

^ That interior design doesn't really remind me of Beta specifically. Seems actually more Delta to me.
Also, if open free space and little "clutter" = Beta, then Trump wouldn't be Beta.
Having said that, people can have varying tastes even within their own Quadra.
@Cassandra Eh, really? This doesn't have a lot of open spaces? It's like as if there's an open space to play around.
I look at the Si Delta rooms thread, and it seems really cluttered. It makes sense, since Se needs to be active and that might need a lot of empty spaces.
I mean yeah, the color schemes and things may be more Delta, but if you only focus on form and space, then I think it's more Se.
@Starfall I think an EIE was saying the same thing... I'm not sure if that's relevant. I remember reading in some self-help book that you need to have pillars in your house to be successful or some shit like that... I can't remember which book it was. Maybe it was a Se ego type lol.
But yeah, pillars are pretty cool I guess, kind of in an ancient greek/roman kind of way. It gives off an aristocratic vibe. I'd kind of want pillars in the middle of the room, because I'm worried that the roof might collapse or something. Ni is paranoid like that... Pillars are kind of interesting in an engineering/architectural/mathematical way I'd suppose...
@squark Why don't you post some pictures, to confirm whether Se types prefer to have pillars or not.

Hmm, pretty neat, but they look fairly standard.
I'm starting to think that there's not much pattern... other than they look super clean, not cluttered and there's more symmetry to everything, which I like.

Yeah well got them all just from google image search. Uncluttered, with air, light and space is what they all have in common among the ones I liked. I especially like big windows or strategically placed skylights, or nice use of vertical or horizontal space.
I don't like rooms where it feels like there's too much stuff to go around or knock over, or anything too prissy where you can't actually use the space, nor do I like super modernistic rooms that look too sanitized/sterile either.
Agree that Delta rooms are cluttered and emphasis on Beta's ` action space´ is lower. Take my room, it's hella big. But I managed to put so many things in it that it ended up tight and cozy like a womb. There's a chaotic project area in every (VERY messy) corner, piles of useful material everywhere --> Delta Si is blocked with Te. The Beta homes I've seen rarely have this character of spreading something interesting everywhere, it's about the what occupies what.
Hmm, maybe clutteredness is just an intuitive thing... because they're too lazy or passive to move things around.
