I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

My background pics are pitch blackness because I didn’t want anything bright burning my eyes when I check my phone in the middle of night, I believe I’m sp/sx
Plain black. Like my soul. Mostly to save energy and because background images are distracting as hell its hard to read the text behind them and I hate user customisations. Like it’s that way for a reason.
Edit: Am sx first.

I do not suffer fools gladly.
Lmao I feel called out...my background is my boyfriend.

It's not even a well framed photograph because it was taken quickly with my cellphone before the light changed. The motel I stayed at last year had this amazing view. sp/so
The Barnum or Forer effect is the tendency for people to judge that general, universally valid statements about personality are actually specific descriptions of their own personalities. A "universally valid" statement is one that is true of everyone—or, more likely, nearly everyone. It is not known why people tend to make such misjudgments, but the effect has been experimentally reproduced.
The psychologist Paul Meehl named this fallacy "the P.T. Barnum effect" because Barnum built his circus and dime museum on the principle of having something for everyone. It is also called "the Forer effect" after its discoverer, the psychologist Bertram R. Forer, who modestly dubbed it "the fallacy of personal validation".
@Eudaimonia thanks for mentioning that to me
Welp, my phone background is no longer my boyfriend, sadly. As much as I love seeing his face, it wasn't working out functionality wise because I couldn't see the text on some widgets. Now it's a boring, almost plain black background with neon app icons. At least I can read my deadline countdowns and such, though.

I joined the "most people you know" category the other day. Now it's a pic of my brother and I goofing around that my aunt took while I was back in the States this Christmas. I feel like that's a special case though. We've always been really close and hadn't seen each other in 2 years. It's not normally like me to use pics of people

This is the imposthume of much wealth and peace, That inward breaks, and shows no cause without Why the man dies.
Idk.
I put something there and I haven't noticed it in ages.
Idec to go check.
What instinct do I get for this?
Yeah I know.
I find this one significant because I drew a very similar image one time when I was 20. I was in art class and we were asked to draw whatever random shapes came from our hands. It was called automatic drawing or something. This was before I knew about Jung so I've always seen it as likely to be a coincidence, but maybe a flirtation with the collective unconscious if that actually exists.
I also just think that all of Jung's illustrations are some of the most beautiful art I've ever seen.
I have my own photos as phone background. Never people. Just plants, moon, sun, flowers, my cat.
I'm sp/sx or sx/sp

Potential DRV3 spoilers for both-
My current one is this (since it's my latest render)
But I mainly keep going back to this picture
So, I have checked. It's the face of a character I like, staring right at who ever is on the other side of the screen.
Tho my lock screen is something like roses, I find it less personal and people tend to expect that kind of things from me.
Wait, is it? I'm not sure anymore.
10 seconds' all I need to forget, dear lord. I'm sure it's nature related at least.
My phone background is the default background. If I chose a new background for it, it probably wouldn't have people. The only reason why I would ever put someone's face on there was if I really loved them.
I match the description for 6 Sp, but have Sx/Sp-like characteristics.
Edit: The kind of imagery I would likely have as a background would probably be either nature oriented or dark. Think intense.
Edit 2: A potential type of image that I might use on a phone is attached.

i think im SP first but maybe SX. probably not SO.
I don't have a phone wallpaper but this is my fb cover photo if that counts.
My phone backgrounds are usually of nature, either real-life photos or drawings of such. Last month tho, I had as my background a drawing of a young girl looking out into a snowy landscape because a guy sent it to me and told me that the girl's vibes were the same as mine.
So far, I think I'm SP/SO
