Now, Star Trek Beyond.

So I watch movies looking at the characters primarily: Significant personality developments were more between Spock and Bones, the former especially in his decision to *spoiler*. Other than that, there was nothing new, just Jaylah and Krall as a concept, just like the "stuck in a rut" theme. Parts reminded me of Guardians of the Galaxy (was it Zoe Saldana's presence?). Visual effects were ok, the story line was kind of simple and easy to follow and all, but there was no major philosophic testimony (unlike the other Star Trek movies prior to this one), not very sophisticated. Costumes - me likey, vehicles - uh, music - yes pretty good. My highlight: Captain Kirk's eyebrows, as usual.
