My father is also SLI (and Irish, and a good fighter, but as with Wayne, you might not know that at first), and this movie showed me (I was really young) what a grown-up relationship should be like. I wonder if this movie created my Imago. I'm attracted to women with red hair, and my ex looks a bit like a thinner Maureen O'Hara.
