This is somewhat tangential to the main thread but I still think it would be interesting to examine type and musical preferences in relation to this: I sort of think think classical music can also be sorted by Gulenko's cognitive styles based on a comment goldenbane made on Chopin's music containing fractals.

Casual-determinist: Bach, Mozart
Dialectical-algorithmic: Wagner, Schoenberg

I'll try anything and I enjoy a lot of different genres, but I tend to gravitate toward indie music and EDM. The harder, the better.
