What is beauty? What is love?

I think beauty is an aesthetic quality that can only be judged by the beholder. There isn't one universal paragon of "beauty;" everyone has his own opinion of what is beautiful. Further, I think beauty comes from within, meaning that it can be cultivated and enhanced but not learned. To me, beauty has softness without being squishy, purity without being Pollyanna-ish, strength without being tough. It's not overly feminine or childlike or fragile or even sexy. It's a wholesome goodness that's youthful and cheerful and intelligent and natural and real.

Love is a feeling that fills my heart with hope and joy and optimism. It gives me a sense of serenity, security, and warmth. It develops over time and can't be fallen into or stepped in. It is honest and generous and kind and yes, it makes the world go 'round...
