My first guess is LSI, but I'm not 100% sure.
He supposedly really liked to talk, so I was surprised to find that he's usually rather quiet in interviews. I'm going to throw out EII for my guess.
Bumpity bump
I know in MBTI he is typed as ENFP but I'm not sure if I see Ne-ego; his thoughts are decently organized and doesn't scatter/drift to different topics
First thing I noticed is Rod is very, very well articulated, precise in his speech and he seems to naturally/fluidly express himself and his thoughts via words and non-verbal expression (a variety of facial expressions, head movements). Body stays relatively still, controlled. He seems like a person that's a fighter and wants to send a message for the betterment of the world; “The writer's role is to be a menacer of the public's conscience,” From this I get EJ temperament and Te-ego. (IJ energy retreats and turns inward)
I used to watch this show as a kid, and I thought the way they delivered the show made you think deeply about the nature of humanity/its morals/values and its implications through a variety of themes, symbols, prophetic messages, patterns etc. (Ni).
I know Rod himself was a strong political activist; before he became the revered master of science fiction, Rod Serling was just a writer who had to fight to make his voice heard. He vehemently challenged the networks and viewership alike to expand their minds and standards — rejecting notions of censorship, racism and war; “Being like everybody is the same as being nobody.” (Seems possibly Se/Fi-valuing)
