Who and exactly why watches this crap? It's the lowest ... meh it's typical for HBO to produce porn and get lauded for producing "mind boggling good" stuff.

Come on people, it's an expensive porn with a very bad message! I as a SEE can't stand the darkness of this series.

i think the show is really good, but sometimes it does go overboard with the violence. i mean there's only so much torture & rape, etc. that people can stand watching. it also cheapens & desensitizes people to it, so then the showrunners have to constantly try and up the ante, going for ever more "shocking" violent scenes.

as for the sex scenes, they're not that bad imo. what's more annoying is how some characters who could be more multi-dimensional are just used as an excuse to show more T&A (e.g. the Sand Snakes in season 5).

Yeah, it's actually not bad, but HBO ruined it. Hell, even Martin complains about it and he makes a FORTUNE out of it! Not only that, but it made him famous as well(who'd have known for him otherwise?).

It's this HBO insistance on porn + violence desensitisation(wow tough word incoming!) that totally ruins it for me. Beneath it all is kinda medieval story written in fabulous fashion. But the show...ugh. Hate HBO.
