I like Marina (or at least her music) for 379 Sx-last. Not sure between So/Sp and Sp/So, though.

3 integrates 6:
imo she's so/sx 3w2, 379
her being so southern can also make her seem more 7, i guess

Reasons Miley isn't a core 3:
- Shame is not an issue or topic that's very prominent
- Miley isn't concerned with losing face
- Doing what she wants > working hard to meet the expectation of a key figure
- being messy, random, hedonistic > polished, controlling how she comes across, competency
- freedom is an essential fight for her. not self-esteem
- her feeling of value isn't externalized. it's more about finding pleasure for herself, being content.
- doesn't aspire to be a mogul like Beyoncé or Nicki (who are more 3/8-influenced) but also SEE like her
- Miley has a scattered gypsy mentality ("can't be tamed"), image and heart-based people-pleasing aren't in her focus
Miley is core 7, 379.
Christina Aguilera: Textbook 3 SX. Her album "Bionic" was the most type-revealing so far:
Grand, dramatic, bold, elegant, imposing, soaring almost, focused and directional, but above all...big
Everything is big, very expansive. You might be hated for it, but nobody will remember you if you don't stand out.
This is the kind of emotional timbre I will convey in music, and it's definitely what I tend to be attracted to.

"I like to shock - I think it's inspiring. OK, I may have been the naked-ass girl in the video, but if you look at it carefully, I'm also at the forefront. I'm not just some lame chick in a rap video; I'm in the power position, in complete command of everything and everybody around me. To be totally balls-out like that is, for me, the measure of a true artist."

A: Confidence.

I never really understood the 3 disintegration to 9, I wondered "they become lazy and give up?" that's what ive seen people say, which didn't make sense. I kind of recently realized that 3 going to 9 is going numb and disconnected from their emotions and in worst case scenario develops psychopathic tendencies. Very shameful that I only now understood this indeed
Examples: Elliot Rodger, the lead character in "Catch me if you can" : )
The 3 itself is already disconnected from their [true] emotions. At 9 there's only admitting exhaustion from doing doing doing. Complete apathy, withdrawal, "whatever..." mentality. Nothing even remotely psychopathic about it. That already happens at 3 itself. 9 is just the last safety bank to cool down the racing, robotic engine. The 3 mask and self-deceit falls when they retract into their solitude cocoon which is hard to enter already (3 looks for validation outside all the time), so the situation forces you into it. I have this as well. High performance, a different more competent and cold persona, totally controlled behavior at university. When I come home, I am 90% burned out, lock myself into my room, and distract myself with trivial things. I avoid all work and social connection, and feel bad about it. Yes, that is lazy. I am really tired even if I got enough sleep. Don't care anymore about anything. This is how it feels like
Dunno about Elliot Rodger, at least there was no 9-disintegration or psychopathy in the video. An example that came to mind was what happened to Zac Efron after High School Musical.
I think that's just being a human (you being tired from working so much). The type 3s pattern is to look good, attractive, and of course this will not be removed when deeply unhealthy but ENHANCED because they're so deeply attached to the neurosis. To keep up with it they have to ignore their deep emotions and compassion.
Unhealthy Levels
Level 7: Fearing failure and humiliation, they can be exploitative and opportunistic, covetous of the success of others, and willing to do "whatever it takes" to preserve the illusion of their superiority.
Level 8: Devious and deceptive so that their mistakes and wrongdoings will not be exposed. Untrustworthy, maliciously betraying or sabotaging people to triumph over them. Delusionally jealous of others
Level 9: Become vindictive, attempting to ruin others' happiness. Relentless, obsessive about destroying whatever reminds them of their own shortcomings and failures. Psychopathic behavior. Generally corresponds to the Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
If 3s aren't busy competing with each other this is what they do on TV :
Sx last 3s also need to be "hot". They need to shine and want people to adore them. The character in Catch me if you can is sx last. What tells apart sx last 3s is that they wont have their own "shtick" as much as the others, they may be more into wanting to be the typical successful person, if you know what I mean.
Hm idk. Like the typical businessman or doing something "normal" like that. They try to be an exact copy of what is generally known as attractive and successful. And because most people in the world are sp/so..
As opposed to like, Madonna.
Obviously 3s who are not sx last also need to be what is generally known as attractive and succesfull but iwould say the sx last ones embody it more. It's hard to explain what I mean. :/
3s kind of need to be attractive to everyone regardless of stacking. It's can be confused for social in that way that in "reaches out" into the world, and need to win it.

Being normal at an eye level happens when they go to 6 But sp/so being common is a good point. Perhaps what you try to get at is how SO/SP and SP/SO 3s have a much wider claim to appeal due to being social stackings.
It blurs the line to enneagram 2, the difference being 3 also wants to be respected on top of that.
