IMHO, this thread is often a bit confused.

darksiders on the other hand seem eager to prove their soc isn't in full control, so they typically test the boundaries of traditional soc values. maybe knee-jerk reactions against sheepish herd behavior, group mentalities, or warmside strategies for making connections. they aren't any less healthy by definition, but can seem that way due to their darker, more confrontational manner. they use highly customized interactive tactics like all so/sx's, but in a more uncompromising "keeping it real" way, owing to the active tension between "good" soc and "bad" sx. some examples are woody harrelson, frank zappa, jack nicholson, lauryn hill, judy garland, chris rock, eminem, george carlin, andy warhol."

Of course they do at one point, when all stimulation is drawn out and nothing is left. SX is impulse-based, so when there's no response anymore, it has nothing to feed off.

There's more behind this pun. See it from the viewpoint of tragedy also, when the love is so intense that extinguishment happens. It's nothing to take lightly because relationships change us fundamentally as we learn very grave things about ourselves. This was not intended to express a romantic thought, it's more of a mourning.
So hm, what's your stacking? That might explain a lot.

I've noticed I can keep it burning for much longer than most other people I know though. I create drama in the relationship which pulls me back in, what I feed off is when people are somewhat unavailable, even if we are in a relationship, though I simultaneously still wish they would be as obsessed with me as I am with them. I think it's the e4 influence here, creating your own "suffering" to be fueled. Sx/Sp isn't inherently masochistic, that's more of a So/Sx type of behavior pattern

Yes, sx/sp is the masochistic 4ish stacking. So/sx is not masochistic.

The stackings happen to correlate rather seamlessly with the Bhavacakra, the Buddhist Wheel Of Life (or Wheel Of Becoming).The Bhavacakra is a symbolic representation of samsara in the form of a circle, found primarily in Tibetan Buddhist art. The sufferings of the pretas often resemble those of the dwellers in hell, and the two types of being are easily confused. The simplest distinction is that beings in hell are confined to their subterranean world, while pretas are free to move about.
