Newly identified probable sp/so, saying hello!
Patricia Kass singing in the most controlled, dry, calm, and cold voice about the charms of Germany where "le romantisme est plus violent". (see Sturm und Drang)
Anyway the epitome of the sp/so society.
Ich habe eine kleine Wildblume
Eine Flamme die zwischen den Wolken bluht
D'Allemagne j'ai une petite fleur dans le coeur
Qui est comme l'idee du bonheur
Et qui va grandir comme un arbre.
I have a little wild flower
A flame which blooms among the clouds
(..) I have a little flower in my heart
Which is like the idea of happiness
And which is going to grow like a tree

Sp/So + E1 at its finest

That sounds a bit like my relationship with my ESE-Fe so/sp sister. The combination of the Fi/Fe clash and her Sx-lastness just doesn't work, any attempts at even remotely personal discussions usually fail epicly. The weird thing is, we've still connected really well on the Ne/Si-level. She's super into any infantile shit I come up with, the weirder the better. We can have a ninja playfight using giant gym balls as our weapons, shouting at each other in gibberish and break half of our parents' house in the process, and it's all great. But as soon as one of us says something like "that was fun" it's all awkward.

I'm moving this here from the PopularMusic&Ennea thread, cause it's a bit unfair with all those dry and frigid images. This is what the sp/so energy usually feels to me. A sense of uplifting freshness and openness. A love of moderate natural light - a revigorating, not a buring one. My sp/so father and my sp/sx SEI brother were polar opposites in this respect. When he was a kid my brother used to listen to heavy metal music and dance with the lights off in his room. My father was astonished when he happened to open the door. He couldn't understand how someone could like darkness and compressing noise.

lol my father cannot stand opera. I'm sure opera is so/sp par excellence. When he listens to classical, instrumental, or symphonic-like stuff, it's usually only something like this (borodin at worst):
Could be because he's a Te dominant though. He would never turn on music if left to his own devices actually. What he listens to (if he likes it) is what he receives as a gift or via e-mails from others who may know his tastes and think he has to chill out. On his own he usually watches lots of news on TV and reads the press to stay tuned. When he's not working, ofc.

Lily Allen seems to embody that dry direct sp/so writing style I've heard so much about
Maybe?

Much of this thread I find to be very constructive with much appealing to me on a personal level so am locking in sp/so.
A short excerpt of my sp/so aunt's award-winning poetry
It is dusk. The birds sweep low to the lake and then dive
up. The wind picks a few leaves off the ground
and turns them into wheels that roll
a little way and then collapse. There's nothing like branches
planted against the sky to remind you
of the feel of your feet on the earth, the way your hands
sometimes touch each other. All those memories,
you wouldn't want them over again, there's no point.
What's next, you ask yourself.
You ask it ten thousand times.
Sp/so poetry below. There are some so/sp overtones as well (e.g. explicit, exalted style), but I think it belongs here.

Most Sp/So film I have ever watched.
most German movies are sp/so lol, but this one is a combo of Sp/so and Sx/so (conventional Western gender paradigms are inverted through the female protagonist, the actual cold-hearted survivor)
