since this is about sx/sp myths .....
adonis and aphrodite (this representation is not necessarily sx/sp, but I like the picture by george barbier)
"He was gone. That was it. I didn't get a chance to tell him that I loved him. I needed him to KNOW that I LOVED HIM. But now, that chance was gone. I sat on the floor, sobbing, hurting, ripped apart internally, and then…and then…the anger welled up. The pain turned into the pure fire of rage and hate. And I felt it flow from my core out though my arms and my hands. I rose, set aflame by the power that flowed through me. I saw my reflection in Delia’s mirror portal into the Other World. My eyes glowed red, the flames that encircled the outline of my body licked at me gently but did not burn me. Each step I took closer to the mirror burned my foot prints into the floor. I stopped two feet from the portal saw the still flowing tears evaporate into steam on my burning cheeks."

An example of the Sx/sp "narrow focus" (actually SO last)
It's really weird thinking about tatu as sx/sp considering how they were never real lovers. The whole act was based solely around "lesbians?!" and the shock value of two women kissing in such a sexually conservative nation like Russia. That projection of sexuality so front-and-center feels unnatural for sx/sp.
All The Things She Said is a fucking boss record though.
My hope for these threads is more than just finding art that expresses whatever the each stacking has, but finding works by people who represent those types themselves. It's fun to throw paint against the wall and find symbols in the spotches, but when it comes to music, attaching a human face to the object completes the process for me.
I'm not sure about what you want here. I've posted tens of videos, comments, and pictures about what sx/sp is for me and there's no way a stack is going to be represented through 1-2 artists/emblematic faces only. I don't know if I identify with half of what you posted in this thread due to its lack of intensity, sharp focus, and even implicit sexual charge. We kind of only agreed on tigers, vultures, and Frollo, as far as I recall.

Beta vibes and tense relationships - Sx/sp and Sx/so making a mess
Charles Algernon Swinburne is a sx/sp poet imo. He wrote lots of intense quasi-erotic poetry (he's known for shocking his audience with his imagery, although he lived in the 19th century) and he promoted a form of "aesthetic perversion". Instead of posting something provocative, I'll just drop a quote and a poem on deeper subject matters (such as death). I wrote my dissertation on this dude lol.
"Life is the lust of a lamp for the light that is dark till the dawn of the day when we die."
A Cameo
There was a graven image of Desire
Painted with red blood on a ground of gold
Passing between the young men and the old,
And by him Pain, whose body shone like fire,
And Pleasure with gaunt hands that grasped their hire.
Of his left wrist, with fingers clenched and cold,
The insatiable Satiety kept hold,
Walking with feet unshod that pashed the mire.
The senses and the sorrows and the sins,
And the strange loves that suck the breasts of Hate
Till lips and teeth bite in their sharp indenture,
Followed like beasts with flap of wings and fins.
Death stood aloof behind a gaping grate,
Upon whose lock was written Peradventure.
To be fair re: tATu, Not Gonna Get Us has a much stronger sx/sp vibe than their other tracks. Then again I also like the production a lot better than most of their stuff
Kinda funny how the English versions seem to have more lyrical depth than the Russian originals

Selita Ebanks - she is vibing something very familiar, waiting for confirmation from the 'sx/sp exclusivity club'
^^ Doesn't strike me as anything in particular other than Not-Sp-Last and Beta NF. Kinda vibes like Golden from what I remember?
"Caught up in a whirlwind can't catch my breath
Knee deep in hot water, broke out in a cold sweat
Can't catch a turtle in this rat race
Feels like I'm losin' time at a breakneck pace
Afraid of my own shadow in the face of grace
Heart full of darkness spotlight on my face
There was love all around me but I was lookin' for revenge
Thank God it never found me would have been the end
Walkin' the tightrope, steppin' on my friends
Walkin' the tightrope, it was a shame and a sin
Walkin' the tightrope between wrong and right
Walkin' the tightrope both day and night
Lookin' back in front of me, the mirror's a grin
Through eyes of love I see I'm really lookin' at a friend
We've all had our problems, that's the way life is
My heart goes out to others, who are there to make amends?
We've been walkin' the tightrope tryin' to make it right
Walkin' the tightrope, every day and every night
Walkin' the tightrope, bring it all around
Walkin' the tightrope from the lost to found"

It's not exactly what I would have chosen for sx/sp ...but maybe it's coming from an E5 perspective - the anatomical is the objectively real and palpable, after all. It lacks the common sp/sx disturbing and repelling qualities imo, it's a purely neutral representation of the erotic and biological "flow" between 2 ppl.
Hozier's music rubs really weird for me. It feels way too personal for anybody else to really "get it," not the sort of thing that fits in with the rest of the current radio rotation.
Certainly seems like some ENXp type, so-last of some caliber also seems likely.
lol it's kinda funny seeing people here fall head over heels for Hozier. I mean sure he seems like a cool guy, but certainly not someone to get me hot and bothered.
