Sx/Sp or Sp/Sx can change the emotional qualities of a person. Like loneliness, feelings of being outcast, left to ones own devices, socially misunderstood, marooned, rebelling against the majority etc. grants different visual or acoustic chromatics if represented through various media. Colors become washed out, suddenly there is beauty in decay and disillusionment/distrust for the artifice of perfect beauty (rust, decay, abandonment in the foreground; the natural quality of things is not "sanitized" "unblemished" "pure"). Solitary towers may parallel the intimate focus of one individual's inner life as symbols from romanticist, Gothic obsession with the individual, Byronic hero. Melodies turn more sinister in tone, more flat/sharp notes, minors utilized (Enharmonic modulation?) compositions may evoke feelings of strange, cold, alien, "paranormal," oneiric, trippy (dirty) ascendence, etc. Emphasis is not on conveying a narrative through musical composition, a "story," instead capturing an ambience of feelings, a comforting solitude of texture of notes that wrap around the 'soul' of the listener, conserving, shielding away from the cacophony of the world.

None of this, however ties to any genre in general. On one of my course we learned that film noir was never listed as a filmic genre. Still, after its hayday, "noir" continued to pop up in various types of films, detuning their style by adding more grittiness, edge, social criticism, colder/darker tone, an eerie psychological depth, mystery, a blurring of the good / bad, thus steering away from straight happy ends toward more complexity, seriousness.

And even if these are true, it doesn't change the very fact, that all can be imitated, coppycatted, captured and re-represented (by so/sxs, so/sp, sx/sos) under the (sun)light of the public eye. The way Batman or a subversive idea can contained and become public property (counterculture becomes culture). So the most important factor that one has to discern to be able to differentiate (needs careful dissection) is the following: "raw communication" 1-on-1 without masspersonal intent. Or in other words: no games, no bluffing, no sarcasm, duplicity but direct intimacy. It strips naked to talk to you. Would you bare your soul for him/her?

Addendum: the behavioral and mental patterns associated to this Enneagram "type" not only can be, but also, inexorably will be copied. This is a historical tendency, it goes on under various other names, I believe if one takes a look into Joseph Campbell's Hero's Journey will be able to find the "wolfman's" "Enkidu's," "Mowgli's" "feral children's" story throughout all kinds of myths from all over the world. And society cutifying them to tame their subversive edge (having the potential to inquire into society's unquestioned/naturalized habits/values/world perceptions while being unbiased). I think the term 'postmodern' that talks about the loss of the original within the overabundance of copies has something to do with it. Hell, I even read a Žižek intro saying:

The ideological attitude opened up by this split, of course, is that of cynism, of cynical distance which pertains to the very notion of Enlightenment and which today seems to have reached its apogee: although officially undermined, devalorized, authority returns through the sidedoor - "we know there is no truth in authority, yet we continue to play its game and to obey it in order not to disturb the usual run of things..." So in other words: re-represent it as much as you want, overpost the forum with loaned pictures, music videos, overdone attempts to prove your revolutionary spark through striking, loud colors, but at the end of the day, all it will boil down to (that cynical distance splitting up theory/words/images from) is:

a little synflow rant

After spending a long time with a group, especially when i have no one that i have good chemistry with that i can lean on, i feel so useless and down. My energy for soc goes away so quickly and after that i become even more quiet and isolate myself from the group. I feel so useless+inappropriate being with a bunch of social people who know their way around social and bonding and being a part of the group when i dont. I know developing my soc is key to my health but it feels like its near to impossible

Yeah.

My soc energy lasts for a couple minutes just like you describe. Then if there is no one interesting to me, I can stay only if I have some other goal with the situation. Or for good food, sometimes.

I however feel no need to "fix" myself about this. I know now how I work and I can seek out socialization based on that and not force things on myself beyond that that do not work for me.

Understanding myself better helped a lot there. Before that I used to think I had to "fix" this.

@Myst and @Ghost , thank you for your insights; I feel the same. Chemistry is organic, tbh, and while it's great to aspire to better the blind spot, it's still important to listen to your primary instinct and worth with your limitations; I, like Myst, have felt that there was something wrong with me and I do have so flaws, I have found not to force myself to do things with a crowd in which I'm not really into anyone. I have found that it might take time to find that but it's worth it. And we can all try to improve, meanwhile *rambles*.
