Okays.
Okays.
I don't know about mindset, but this is what IEI often looks like for me (especially E4)
The Pool Master expresses the mindset of an IEI
What kind of NF is ville valo (although i've seen him typed ESI somewhere)? is mige amour SEI?
"Love is anterior to life, posterior to death, initial of creation, and the exponent of breath."
I have crafted a whole IEI playlist. I'm sharing this song now - I don't exactly know why, but it's just as weird as my mind:
"The IEI has all the best tunes"
Improving your happiness and changing your personality for the better
Jungian theory is not grounded in empirical data (pdf file)
The case against type dynamics (pdf file)
Cautionary comments regarding the MBTI (pdf file)
Reinterpreting the MBTI via the five-factor model (pdf file)
Do the Big Five personality traits interact to predict life outcomes? (pdf file)
The Big Five personality test outperformed the Jungian and Enneagram test in predicting life outcomes
Evidence of correlations between human partners based on systematic reviews and meta-analyses of traits
I really feel Ni/Se when I hear this.
"This will never end because I want more, more give me more, give me more"
"After the night, when I wake up, I'll see what tomorrow brings"
"If I had a heart I could love you, If I had a voice I would sing."

This is how I envision the mindset of an IEI looks like in relation to a musical piece. The world is a colourful tapestry to Ni. If I am wrong: sue me.
the point I am trying to tmake is that each IEI sees the world differently, each nuence, pulling from a variety of forces, history, psycho-personal history, emotional history, projection, sensations, thought sensations, plans, moments, opportunities to act, are projected into the music. What IEI has not felt music in his/her body, giving them shivers as the thoughts produce waves of emotions, often times pulled from memory.

Love, love is a verb
Love is a doing word
Fearless on my breath
Gentle impulsion
Shakes me, makes me lighter
Fearless on my breath
Teardrop on the fire
Fearless on my breath
Night, night after day
Black flowers blossom
Fearless on my breath
Black flowers blossom
Fearless on my breath
Teardrop on the fire
Fearless on my...
Water is my eye
Most faithful mirror
Fearless on my breath
Teardrop on the fire
Of a confession
Fearless on my breath
Most faithful mirror
Fearless on my breath
Teardrop on the fire
Fearless on my breath
You stumble in the dark
You stumble in the dark
@wacey
I love that show I'm never on the history channel so I've forgotten about it kinda
but I ran across a marathon once and couldn't look away haha
I need to watch it some more
SO IEI.
@Estel that song is a classic!!! I love Dash Berlin
That song is a classic I listened to it back in Lithuania before I moved to the US
And yes I have suggestions
Armin Van Buuren is my favorite and he's kind of like Dash Berlin so there'll be some of him thrown in here and others maybe:

Probably more E4 related too. Lou Rhodes has such an ethereal quality though...
“My typology is . . . not in any sense to stick labels on people at first sight. It is not a physiognomy and not an anthropological system, but a critical psychology dealing with the organization and delimitation of psychic processes that can be shown to be typical.” —C.G. Jung
Thanks Elina! This is a wonderful playlist. Thanks for the Armin Van Buuren. Some of these I have heard before; like "Waiting for the Night." Love love "In my Memory;" and if I was judging from the picture on the video, Id say Tiesto is an SLE. What is your opinion? I'm gonna add these to my running playlist. Are these guys more popular in Lithuania than the US?
Sure! Glad you liked it.
I'm not sure on Tiesto's type. There's some English interviews he's done on youtube! Might be worth looking into if you're interested in typing him.
I might do that myself sometime. If I do I'll let you know what I think
And yes, this type of music is more popular in Lithuania, and in Europe in general, of course.
The US is a little behind on EDM, but maybe it's trying to get there lately lol
Still not totally sure if I am EIE or IEI but Beta NF at least..
"We're only young and naive still
We require certain skill
The mood it changes like the wind
Hard to control when it begins
The bittersweet between my teeth
Trying to find the in-between
Fall back in love eventually
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
Can't help myself but count the flaws
Claw my way out through these walls
One temporary escape
Feel it start to permeate
We lie beneath the stars at night
Our hands gripping each other tight
You keep my secrets hope to die
Promises, swear them to the sky"
"Hey heart on the road again
Moving on forward
Sticks and stones won't break our bones
We're in a car on the highway
It's a magical feeling that no one's got a hold
You're a catalyst to your happiness you know
This is your heart it's alive
It's pumping blood
And it's your heart it's alive
It's pumping blood
And the whole wide world is whistling
And it's whistling"
Guarantee you fluffy perf IEIs will love these two songs, how could you not? <3
A + on the Massive Attack Teardrop mention... that song's gorgeous. I find that I feel extremely connected to songs that boast of youth, and that forever magical quality that comes with it -- Beta is said to be the "teenage" quadra in terms of spirit.. I definitely feel that way. That adolescent hope, rebelliousness, first love, urge to fight.

I don't think these songs really describes the IEI mindset but it just feels like a materialization of NiFe to me. Very dreamlike
I can fly
But I want his wings
I can shine even in the darkness
But I crave the light that he brings
Revel in the songs that he sings
My angel Gabriel
I can love
But I need his heart
I am strong even on my own
But from him I never want to part
He's been there since the very start
My angel Gabriel
My angel Gabriel
Bless the day he came to be
Angel's wings carried him to me
Heavenly
I can fly
But I want his wings
I can shine even in the darkness
But I crave the light that he brings
Revel in the songs that he sings
My angel Gabriel
My angel Gabriel
My angel Gabriel

American IEI songs:
“ . . . . I was filled with poison / But blessed with beauty and rage . . . . I'm your jazz singer / And you're my cult leader / I love you forever . . . .”
“ . . . . I told you I'd never say goodbye / Now I'm slipping on the tears you made me cry . . . . Why’s it come as a surprise to think that I was so naive? / Maybe didn't mean that much / But it meant everything to me . . . .”
“. . . . I can't tell you the truth about my disguise / I can't trust no one . . . .”
