Anyone know any good male ESI examples? I've only known maybe 1 through out my life and I want to get a better handle on what male versions of the type look like.

suede has a bunch of threads covering this already that feature male esis.
Johnny Depp.
Projection is ordinary. Person A projects at person B, hoping tovalidate something about person A by the response of person B. However, person B, not wanting to be an obejct of someone elses ego and guarding against existential terror constructs a personality which protects his ego and maintain a certain sense of a robust and real self that is different and separate from person A. Sadly, this robust and real self, cut off by defenses of character from the rest of the world, is quite vulnerable and fragile given that it is imaginary and propped up through external feed back. Person B is dimly aware of this and defends against it all the more, even desperately projecting his anxieties back onto person A, with the hope of shoring up his ego with salubrious validation. All of this happens without A or B acknowledging it, of course. Because to face up to it consciously is shocking, in that this is all anybody is doing or can do and it seems absurd when you realize how pathetic it is.
OUCH!
I better watch out. Those ESIs are very dual like to me, but really my super ego!

I've read on some sites Kiefer Sutherland is ESI; of course there are others that dispute that. I also read Tyne Daly (female) is ESI, she makes me giggle in her innocent way of being fully in the moment. Both she and Susan Sarandon give me comfort in that way--as in that they have what I lack and yearn for. Wish I knew some ESIs in real life! I've been raised by and surrounded by Alphas!

i've look him up to see who you're talking about and this is what I've found:
“our world requires that decisions be sourced and footnoted, and if we say how we feel, we must also be prepared to elaborate on why we feel that way...We need to respect the fact that it is possible to know without knowing why we know and accept that - sometimes - we're better off that way.”
"We learn by example and by direct experience because there are real limits to the adequacy of verbal instruction.”
“"You don’t manage a social wrong. You should be ending it."
if he's an ENTp, he must hate his own creative Ti function when he rejects having to explain anything. and which ENTp would say that he primarily learns from experience?
Bo Martin Erik Eriksson (E-type) - ESI-Fi
@5:20
Shaun White - ESI(-Fi?) (posted by @suedehead)
Jackson Galaxy (Cats from Hell) - ESI-Fi social 9w8

Don't see what else he could be.
That shaun white is the almost exact replica of a close friend of mine I always thought as LSI, mmmm....
Obsequium amicos, veritas odium parit
The writers Ivan Turgenev, Theodore Dreiser, and Alexandre Dumas (the younger one) are benchmark ESIs in the East, however they are long dead.
Eelke Kleijn - i kept going back and forth on ESI/LIE typing for this guy but most likely it's ESI so/sx, he looks a bit like Narc
this guy was performing locally - Justin Ancheta - ESI-Fi
Nikolai Levchenko - ESI sx/sp (a Ukranian politician)
Casey Affleck - ESI 4w3 (sp/so?)

Well. I'm sad. I just got lied to.
I've only met one ESI male in my life time

Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?
I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

One of my favourite male 4s <3 , RIP Kurt.
Start @ 3:56. I think he’s my identical - we’re both awkward, prissy, appearance-conscious airheads who can’t hold conversations

I think the first three dates I ever had went something like this, only worse. Lol. The uncertainty, the embarrassment. Just astounding. I still cringe at the memories.
I didn't try dating again for about seven years, but by then, I was a lot more extroverted and I just wasn't as worried about how I would appear.
Incidentally, I think he's a young LIE and she might be an SLE. Not the smoothest combination to start out with.
I think Joe Burrow (Bengals qb) might be ESI
