Type these nerds. (season 2)
https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...7825917&type=3
I want to type those people, nerds! From the tv show King of the nerds.
This should be easy, we got lots of data from the shows and bio and facebooks from the contestants.
-
We should start with the japanophile girl, kelsay.
Here is the transcript of the moment she present herself:
00:10:17,562 --> 00:10:19,930
That means,
"hello, my name is Kelsey."
217
00:10:19,981 --> 00:10:22,098
Learning languages
is actually a big hobby of mine.
218
00:10:22,149 --> 00:10:25,185
I speak Chinese, Japanese,
Spanish, and English.
219
00:10:25,219 --> 00:10:28,321
I'm getting my master's in teaching
English as a second language.
220
00:10:32,193 --> 00:10:34,945
"I want to be
king of the nerds."
221
00:10:35,029 --> 00:10:37,631
That would be
very, very "suzushii desu."
222
00:10:37,665 --> 00:10:38,965
You know, very cool.
She seems a little cold-blooded to me. Maybe LII?
Her is what she says when she is close to not getting picked on a team:
322
00:15:12,006 --> 00:15:13,886
I kind of thought
I'd get picked sooner.
323
00:15:13,925 --> 00:15:15,892
I thought what I have
is kind of unique,
324
00:15:15,927 --> 00:15:18,795
but the Chinese have a saying,
you know */&$?"&!|/
325
00:15:18,829 --> 00:15:22,032
And that literally means "there's
nothing else that can be done."
Se polr?
Then she doesn't get picked:
336
00:16:12,900 --> 00:16:15,285
When you're left out,
it really does hurt.
337
00:16:15,353 --> 00:16:17,854
You know, you think
you found your friends,
338
00:16:17,922 --> 00:16:21,491
and then your friends don't always
turn out to be your friends.
339
00:16:21,558 --> 00:16:24,427
It's a very complex way to feel.
Then she gets all the power and has to choose someone that has to leave:
369
00:18:17,235 --> 00:18:19,986
Lives hang in the balance.
370
00:18:20,021 --> 00:18:23,456
It's like a dream come true 'cause I've
always wanted to be queen. You get power.
371
00:18:23,491 --> 00:18:27,327
I could just feel my heart go,
you know, "pow-pow-pow-pow-pow."
372
00:18:27,361 --> 00:18:30,814
Your lives hang in my balance.
Then she chooses :
379
00:18:47,164 --> 00:18:48,248
Nicole.
380
00:18:49,917 --> 00:18:52,952
No offense. We could lose Nicole
and not really notice.
381
00:18:53,004 --> 00:18:54,471
I do apologize.
Then nicole moves kelsey to the other team and tells her:
Nicole
00:20:57,678 --> 00:20:59,262
I'll trade it with you, Kelsey.
Kelsey
00:20:59,296 --> 00:21:00,714
Understandable.
Then they get inside the house, kelsey is talking with her teammates:
Keyla
00:22:01,492 --> 00:22:04,644
Well, I'll start by saying "welcome
to the team. We love you."
Kelsey
00:22:04,662 --> 00:22:07,530
I didn't mean, you know,
to condemn everyone, but...
Then she tells us:
452
00:22:11,652 --> 00:22:15,255
There's a good chance I'm
gonna be in the Nerd-Off tomorrow.
453
00:22:15,289 --> 00:22:18,591
I jumped from, you know,
the frying pan into the fire.
Then Mary Kate describes her a little:
Mary Kate
00:22:37,144 --> 00:22:39,312
She's kind of reserved,
kind of quiet.
Mary Kate
00:22:39,346 --> 00:22:41,347
She thinks outside the box
a lot.
Kelsey
00:22:41,365 --> 00:22:43,716
I kind of compare myself
to a mongoose
Kelsey
00:22:43,751 --> 00:22:47,237
because they're cute, they're
Fluffy, and they're vicious.
Then she gets voted to go to the nerd-off by her team:
570
00:27:40,886 --> 00:27:44,505
I have a big "X" on my back
just 'cause of what happened yesterday.
571
00:27:44,556 --> 00:27:46,991
It's like,
"man! Again? Oh, joy."
Then she says this to everyone:
574
00:27:52,097 --> 00:27:54,848
Well, after what happened yesterday,
I have a lot to prove, don't I?
575
00:27:54,866 --> 00:27:57,467
And I'm going to
prove it today.
Then she tells us:
592
00:29:00,031 --> 00:29:03,584
I'm gonna prove
that I deserve to be here.
593
00:29:03,635 --> 00:29:07,171
I may not be an engineer
or a scientist,
594
00:29:07,222 --> 00:29:10,741
but that doesn't mean that I can't
win this entire competition.
Then she is discussing with her teammates:
Kelsey
00:29:53,751 --> 00:29:56,653
When they say "fantasy,"
I'm like, "what kind of fantasy?
Kelsey
00:29:56,721 --> 00:30:00,758
Where is the fantasy?
Whose fantasy?"
To us only:
Xander
00:30:00,792 --> 00:30:02,976
Kelsey's definitely
the luna Lovegood.
Xander
00:30:03,028 --> 00:30:05,195
She's off in her own world.
She's a little bit spacy.
Xander
00:30:05,230 --> 00:30:08,866
I wouldn't be surprised if she
showed up with radish earrings.
With her team:
Kelsey
00:30:08,900 --> 00:30:11,452
How do you think they're gonna go with,
like, maybe, traditional fairy tales?
Kelsey
00:30:11,536 --> 00:30:13,987
'Cause I have
a very good knowledge of...
To us only:
Xander
00:30:14,072 --> 00:30:15,739
But that's what makes her
so dangerous,
Xander
00:30:15,774 --> 00:30:17,207
is that you don't know
what's gonna happen.
She gets asked if she red the harry potter books:
636
00:30:40,124 --> 00:30:41,515
I've read all of the books,
but it's just been years.
Then she is competing to stay in the house, throwing potions into cauldrons:
668
00:32:39,267 --> 00:32:42,770
I don't throw potions
into a cauldron
669
00:32:42,804 --> 00:32:45,055
as part of my daily routine,
670
00:32:45,106 --> 00:32:47,841
so I'm just gonna aim for one of
the big ones right off the start.
Then she misses a lot of cauldrons:
721
00:35:20,378 --> 00:35:24,565
Missing was pretty frustrating,
and "kirai desu."
722
00:35:24,599 --> 00:35:26,233
You know, I don't like it.
723
00:35:26,267 --> 00:35:28,235
You know,
I don't like it at all.
Then she loses and has to leave:
Animator
00:39:31,899 --> 00:39:35,835
Kelsey, while the sun may set
for you here at Nerdvana,
Animator
00:39:35,903 --> 00:39:40,473
we know that you will always be one
with the land of the rising sun.
Animator
00:39:41,418 --> 00:39:46,446
So fly off, Kelsey, to all that
the future will hold for you.
Kelsey
00:39:46,514 --> 00:39:49,115
I can't wait.
And for her final speach:
815
00:40:19,280 --> 00:40:22,365
Being able
to actually talk to people,
816
00:40:22,400 --> 00:40:25,452
get out of my computer
and my books,
817
00:40:25,486 --> 00:40:28,488
it's just
such a fascinating experience.
818
00:40:28,522 --> 00:40:31,157
And these are
all amazing people.
819
00:40:31,208 --> 00:40:33,860
And Nerdvana was like
its own mini-world.
820
00:40:33,894 --> 00:40:38,197
You know, "chiisai sekai"...
its own "little, tiny world."
821
00:40:38,215 --> 00:40:41,034
And, oh, my goodness,
what a world to be in.
Ok... That's it for now. I know its a lot of data, but there will be more, I'd like to do this for every contestants that leave the house so that we can discuss their type with quotes.
Anyone likes this?
Oh, and here is the link to watch the show:

I'd like to discuss Kelsey's type, using what we have to prove our point.
I do not want only answers.
-
@Destroypuppy
I use V.I. to evade mistypings based on distorted behaivoural patterns.
Her japanese was actually very bad, she was kinda fake no wonder without authentic .
