I like Springfield. You think Swift is SEI though? I haven't listened/much of her, but I assumed she was EIE.

Oh, yes, I think Taylor Swift is SEI. That face, those eyes, that smile. Scares the hell out of me. She's going to mother me to death.
IRL, I experience SEI's as cutting and potentially dangerous. They aren't, of course. Objectively, the SEI's whom I work with are terrific and I can't tell you how much I appreciate them, but I do so from a distance.

I have an entirely different reaction to EIE's. They are comprehendible, if very Fe. I don't get danger/warning signals from meeting EIE's at all.

Really, huh. I looked up her typing thread, and it's an apparently contentious subject, so I won't claim to know anything for certain, but I don't think she's an Alpha SF. If she is, I'd say ESE before SEI. TBH I don't see "mothering" qualities in her at all -- her stage persona at least seems aggressive and manipulative. Her songs are all about taking revenge and causing suffering and pain and recovering from humiliation and such. I mean if you see Alpha SFs as stereotypical mothering types, do you think they'd act that way toward their partners or children?

I think Springfield is probably SEI, as you said, but they seem nothing alike to me. And the lyrics of Springfield's song, if you're inclined to take them as evidence of a type, have to do with making her partner feel at ease. I don't think there's a single song of Swift's that's remotely comparable in that way.

Probably for the same reason that ILE's are wary of ESI's. Fi/Fe mismatch of expectations.

Hmm. If I'm typed correctly, that's strange; SEEs don't make me wary, I don't think. I usually think they're pretty pleasant. If anything, I'm more wary around ILIs and LIEs, though I like many of them too. Maybe I'm SEI. A SEI who's shit at Fe.

if you think that you're maybe an SEI, then you're probably not an LII. I try to stay away from SEE as far as possible.
