A performance that shocks, unsettles, confuses, polarizes, divides, imposes, asserts, and deadens an audience is a good one in my eyes. It has a lot more to say than a standard one that might just please or impress the people. It's really something new. This one is a good example - say what you want - but it fulfills all those criteria.
