This is very interesting. I think the first couple is ESI-LIE (Annie and Ben), and they scored high on intimacy and neural compatibility and not so high on hot passionate sex. I don't know how much one can generalize from this example, but I was in a marriage (not to an ESI, but to an SLI) and we were both completely intellectually compatible and loyal to each other, and the sex was OK but not great.
