It is a sin to spend one nanosecond thinking about what will happen to you after death. God did not make man to worry about what will happen to him after he dies and then to seek metaphysical salvation. He made man to fix the world and make it a place where he would feel welcome to dwell. Read the Hebrew Bible and see how many times life after death is mentioned (almost none). There is a contradiction between this and the god of The Bible's actual deeds.
One of the many contradictions is that the god of The Bible required first defenseless/innocent animals, then one defenseless/innocent human, to be offered up in sacrifice as propitiations for the sins of those he deemed guilty.
The least subtle contradiction, however, may arguably be that God is the one who made the weak and defenseless exist. If God was a) all powerful, b) all knowing, and c) purely well-meaning, then how is it possible that the problems of famine, war, and other cruelties along a similar vein, all exist?

I don't think anyone could change my mind. Everyone should have the choice. To put it simply, I think it's subjective and thus it's wrong to decide for others. People should be able to arrive to their own conclusions using their own judgment and assessment of their personal situation. People should be allowed to analyze things on a case by case basis. It's one of those things that are too controversial for everyone to agree upon, which is why I think no one should be allowed to make such an incredibly important and life altering choice for someone. I think that is especially true when it involves making that decision for a bunch of strangers they don't even know, will never meet, are clueless about the situation of, etc. I also think there are other questions and problems that should be addressed rather than revisiting the same fucking questions over and over and over and over and over like this. I say that because it's a subject in which people aren't ever going to fully be unified in, people will always be divided and have different points of views. There won't be much progress or movement in this area, it's just a bunch of people ruminating and causing society's laws to vacillate. I think that's a waste of time, effort, and energy. In the meantime, there are subjects not being discussed whatsoever when there could be a great deal of positive changes in societies throughout the world if they were.

This doesn't actually counter those points at all. I had 5 teeth pulled and I'm on painkillers, though...so I doubt I'd make much sense if I tried to clarify.
I think the idea is that the answer is nuanced and detailed.
The problem is like asking why someone does anything at all but you do not ever get told their thinking and have never met them. All you have to go by is either what they have directly said in the past or guesswork.
In the answer to your question, the Bible is our reference guide as it is supposed to be in some parts, God's exact words or words inspired to be written with His approval. And it states that the reason for any evil is because man was created with free will, and man's decision to go against a rule caused the evil to be brought into the physical existance of man.
Man lived in the garden of Eden which was a paradise and no evil was allowed to be physically manifested there. The decision by man to open the path to knowing good and evil resulted in being expelled from the garden into the rest of the world where that evil was allowed to flourish and man got to get his wish- to know good and evil. But that knowledge was experiential not just in a single event, it is throughout his existance within that realm. -As if man was a fish choosing to swim into a fish trap full of predator fish. We get to deal with the result of that choice until it gets rectified by the physics of God's structure and system of rule.
The decisive thing is not the reality of the object, but the reality of the subjective factor, i.e. the primordial images, which in their totality represent a psychic mirror-world. It is a mirror, however, with the peculiar capacity of representing the present contents of consciousness not in their known and customary form but in a certain sense sub specie aeternitatis, somewhat as a million-year old consciousness might see them.

So a lot of those times, I was right when I said, “you don't even care.” My friend didn't care enough. The conflict about this came from differing expectations. I expected more, while to him, the fact that he felt care was sufficient. Therefore, he felt like I was being too demanding (and for what he was ready for or willing to give, I was), while I felt like he didn't care enough (and he didn't, because he didn't care enough for his care to drive him into action…and that was what I was looking for: action).
When expectations are involved, it's often a matter of relativity and comparison.
I guess it was just an incompatibility between us. Not one that couldn't change, but it was one that existed between the two of us during the time we were together or friends.

Yep...having a dismissive-avoidant attachment style is an automatic relationship disqualifier (for both the platonic and the romantic zones) for me personally. I don't want to play these games or deal with it. Not compatible with it at all.
