This technique is probably fine only so long as you're targeting a different muscle group every day. Going through with heavy exercise in one muscle region that's still trying to recover from the last bit of strain you put it through is only going to make the necessary recovery period that much more difficult.

How much protein are you getting in your diet?

@StridingStrider - I swear, you're just like my husband. He was teased for being super, SUPER skinny as a kid. He used to run 4:50 minute miles. I'm talking SKINNY. The he discovered P90x. I highly, highly recommend it for your type. It's structured so you can follow the DVD once or twice, then expand on the workouts on your own at the gym. (substitute pushups for benching, etc).

Also, my husband has protein shakes all day. He doesn't eat much, but he eats frequently when he can

    Good luck!

Continuous protein shakes must be difficult to deal with, he should consider reducing his protein consumption until his shakes become manageable.

Your humor is my favorite, because I never understand it until I re-read what I wrote and realize the different angle.

I used to just make sadistic jokes, but my gran used to make remarks like 'You got that evil sense of humour from the other side of the family'. Now I make both.

I don't want *man* arms, I just want a little more fat on them. They look like sticks.

Seven days a week workout doesn't work. You're going to burn muscle competitively like William and toss out equipment, and you fancy sneakers that "help" you work out.

You guys are skinny. The best body type would be lean and muscular with broad shoulders and a 6 pack or some kind of definition there. Basically a lean mesomorph is ideal. The problem is as a mesomorph.being that body type means you have to maintain it constantly or you will either lose a ton a muscle and gain a lot of fat. Daniel Creig thinks you should suck his cock.

I wouldn't model myself after anyone. I do my best to stay in shape and I dislike sweets. I exercise and eat a lot of salad....that's about it. I treat myself to steak sometimes.

My body is fine the way it is. Perhaps it could use a little more tone which should be easy for me. If anything, I'd want to make sure I have good posture and gait so I look more well-coordinated in my movements.

I'm fond of my almost underweight, non-muscular build. It's awesome for speed, reasonably flexible, does not need any maintenance (well... I should but I won't) is light enough to lift or pull up even with my general lack of muscles. Also, my length makes up for the lack of muscles, I can wrestle most people to the ground due to that and my reach while kicking or punching is an advantage as well.

Not too sure it's as attractive as a fully toned body, but at least it's not a disadvantage.

    This is ideal:

But I already look like that. So, my goal is to stay like that and not eat too many sweets.
I'm not so much into sports, but maybe I'll try jogging again when the winter is over. Waking up early and running while watching the sun rise is actually kind of refreshing.

Yeah, unfortunately they didn't include that function in the game - giving monsters great big hugs.
