    @hag
I think it's about me personaly, I really don't know when people are joking or not. I don't understand intentions either.
Couldn't read between the lines if my life depended on it.
There are some people with whom it's impossible to tell and ask, because the mere question is like an insult or something, idk. I can't tell... -w-
Then again, you aren't responsible for my confusion. You seem open to questions and to clarify your point and that's enough.

Without the non-verbal part of the communication this is often hard to tell. Facial expressions or intonations provide additional information.
In boards emotions are meant for showing the non-verbal part of content.

    Aww, sweetness.
I am blind/deaf to nonverbal communication. I tried very hard to learn it, but it's not happening.

I doubt that I'm so sweet. My impression is that you assumed I'm a woman based on my nickname, but this is a false.
I can tell you that I'm a man... at least last time I checked... anyway, Winnie is a name for both men and women.
It's also my official nickname, good friends and other family members are used to call me that name.

I had to learn the meaning of non-verbal communication. I noticed it but for me it was more like a foreign language when I was younger.
    ...but languages can be learned.

I guess there are a least two options.
You are not interested in understanding non-verbal communication or you are interested in it but it's difficult to understand for you.

Aspergers might be a cause... but I'm not a specialist to do a proper diagnosis.

The questions is, does this cause problems in your life, do you suffer from that circumstance?

...and I guess I de-rail this thread thematically any further...

Ha, you could be a bear or a girafe, once in a while I give people "sweetness", "darling", or something. Gender don't matter to me very much.

I am looking towards seeing a specialist in autism, because that is a problem and I cannot fix it no matter how much I tried.
That's why I say so, if people know then we may be able to reach each other somewhere in the middle.

I see, most living creatures are sweet to you... even hydrochloric acid tastes sweet after consuming a few miracle berries.

I hope you'll find people that can help you.
