Whoever said that SLIs are dispassionate or unaffected by enthusiasm can go fuck themselves. If nothing excites you, what's the point of living and doing things? Better go kill yourself, you won't feel a thing.

Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?
I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

You know it's really funny to me how off my self perception is. A year or two ago when I was making a video for this board, I had just finished and was going to view it and thought to myself 'ew I was WAY too emotional and enthusiastic, better not post that atrocity'. But when I viewed it, i was like a robot speaking with zero emotion and zero enthusiasm and here I thought i was all over the place and Fe'ing like crazy. HAHAH

Ehh, yea, I think SLIs become excited, they just don't outwardly show it as much. They're more bland. Not to say this is a bad thing... sometimes it can be comforting.
Being emotional and being emotionally expressive (i.e. demonstrative) are two different things and should not be confused with each other. And I wouldn't say it's about inability as much as it is about unwillingness or disinclination. I, for instance, don't see the point of drawing public attention to my internal emotional states, and I rarely feel the need to put them on display for just whomever to see.
Yes, and yes.

Why not say that SLI has one-dimentional and that explains everything. Otherwise how would you measure SLI's enthusiasm?
For a great example of SLI enthusiasm, watch the korean drama Brain. I'm pretty sure the main character is an SLI.

Great observation! This is a great example demonstrating that a person cannot judge himself or others adequately regarding his one-dimentional functions. That's what makes these functions vulnerable. One may think that he is too much or not enough enthusiastic but this would be not an adequate estimate as compared to accepted social norms.
Overstated excitement.
