How did you know that I love penguins?!?!

Hmm, and to think I was about to troll this thread.
This is for @dolphin because if I were Wanda, I would want her to be my Mary Ann.

!! I do love you like that.
I had forgotten how to say yes. That’s the trick of heartbreak.
It makes you forget yes. The voices in my head were not kind,
so you took me to the woods to empty out.
My old shoulder was wired with pain, and there was a needle
in my hip, but we lay on a wide flat rock in the snow
as the intoxicated sun licked our faces with breathing light
like a yellow dog, simple in its joy, licking our chins and lips and necks
and a long wind came from over the mountaintop
and cooled our left sides, and the Sacramento River
wept through us like time, and spoke its liquid foolish syllables,
senseless, sensual, almost sentient, and I lay with my head
nested between your breasts and listened.
Time to climb, you said, and I felt snow-wing angelic as we snowshoed
above Castle Lake, leaving traces behind like snow rabbits
with webbed feet, silver squirrels, prints on the glass of the world,
a little evidence for angels to investigate after that death magic
resolves us to nothing again. I heard omens in the wind, psalms
in the bent warm sunlight that makes the snow mountains weep.
Something was coming, something foreign as joy, a clue
to how to live once you’re done with sorrow, a way of being
in being like a long breath exhaled, leaving a trace on the air
before it resolves again to air, the frozen lake, ice fishers waiting
for something great to rise, the mountaintop lifting
its white head in trance and saying its one good word: snow.

@dolphin.
you made me cry for real, like real tears. Tears of happiness of course. 100% serious.
I will make better art for you later but in the meantime, enjoy this music video. I am bound to thank you for it:

This is for @Scapegrace, because she often is other people's 'angel undercover' in threads and it's really inspiring to watch.

I feel like telling about people I know or share something that I experienced but I feel like I have exceeded my quota for self-interest.

Well, I might try something involving someone else than me.
When I was on my European tour we stood in Berlin. There was this man called Ralf the Pirate. He took us to his place where he offered his stories, his jovial company, food and weed. He's right hand was deformed stump with a tiny deformed hook-like thumb. It was his pirate hand that he used to use when he was hitchhiking through the Caribbian isles he seemed to love. His house was filled with pirate stuff. It was kinda cute how someone in their fifties can make a dwarfed hand look like to be his thing.
“I tell you, freedom and human rights in America are doomed. The U.S. government will lead the American people in — and the West in general — into an unbearable hell and a choking life. - Osama bin Laden
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,
Under cerulean skies...

Moonlight will fall
Winter will end
Harvest will come
Your heart will mend
Yeah. Listening to it again, it's an interesting feminine equivalent of the energy I identify with in Kurts music. The two genders are so emotionally separated these days, but alike underneath it. I think I remember watching an interview with this woman where she was saying that's why she redid the song is to show that equivalency.
@numerous persons
@FoxOnStilts
THIS IS NOT NICE THIS IS SO FAR FROM BEING NICE. IF I HAD TO PICK ONE ANIMAL I ABSOLUTELY HATE AND SHUDDER AT THE THOUGHT OF IT BEING IN MY CLOSET, IT IS THE TIBETAN FOX. IT LOOKS LIKE AN OLD MAN. IT HAS AN OLD MAN'S FACE AND THAT TICKLES MY UNCANNY VALLEY.
LOOK AT THIS SHIT:

I love that mashup! I listened to it like eight hours straight one night LOL
"How could we forget those ancient myths that stand at the beginning of all races, the myths about dragons that at the last moment are transformed into princesses? Perhaps all the dragons in our lives are princesses who are only waiting to see us act, just once, with beauty and courage. Perhaps everything that frightens us is, in its deepest essence, something helpless that wants our love."
-- Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet
