Default Your Big 5 Spectrum Scores

Interesting. I'd never heard of this big five test, so I took it twice (on different sites), and I scored in the mid 50s on "accommodation" which I'm assuming is akin to openness. (I was highest in orderliness and emotional stability, and low in extroversion and inquisitiveness.)

Anyway, it looks like the females are scoring repeatedly higher than males, particularly the ethical ones.

On the similarminds test, I got:
(low extroversion, moderately high conscientiousness, moderate neuroticism, medium agreeableness, and high openess) - I think RLOAI fits me slightly better than RLOEI though (with accommodation\agreeableness being above 50% rather than below it).

Oh it's easy to associate: SLE. I know it doesn't show high extraversion but otherwise (going beyond this test) I dunno why you are so stuck on the SLI option, lol

No idea, something with the test algorithm. It's not like I put the lowest possible score in my answers on those questions all the time where I got a score of 1 back.

EDIT: oh, it's a percentile number. That should explain it alright.

    Default Track personality over time

My results are from November 2015 - December 2017. I have been slack with it since they send me a new survey every 30 days but I have only completed 7 of them. I have one due now.

    https://yourpersonality.net/

I am dark green in the second image which compared my scores to others who are participating in this study. My results are pretty consistent for the most part but it keeps track of life events so you know what events affected your personality. It also tracks attachment style to different people in your life which I am not sharing because it is a moving graph but it does show attachments across time without the specific type of relationship in this graph.

I ran my dna through a site that will show you what studies have been done on dna and big 5. These are my results according to my dna, that may or may not be dormant. I am not putting my referral code because I got all that was available to get unlocked free by sharing it already. If you share your link you can get other traits unlocked.

Agreeableness is one of the five personality traits in the five-factor model, the well-known personality framework used in psychology. Agreeableness is the tendency to show compassion, trust and be helpful or cooperative toward others. While some of the personality links to certain genetic markers were replicated by further studies, some have less substantial evidence.
Conscientiousness is the quality of being fair to others and holding yourself morally responsible for your work. Psychologists have defined conscientiousness as one of the five psychological traits (the “Big 5”) forming the basis of personality.
Openness indicates the extent to which a person is open to new experiences and ideas. Someone with a high level of openness is imaginative, curious, and open-minded. Psychologists have defined openness as one of the five psychological traits (the “Big 5”) forming the basis of personality.
Depression is a mood disorder characterized by a persistent sad or empty mood. Individuals with depressive symptoms tend to lack energy, assertiveness, and a desire to do anything -- even activities or hobbies they previously enjoyed. Research shows that genetics is heavily implicated in whether an individual tends to feel depression easily or not.
The quality of feeling easily angered or not is inherited. Anger is the state of feeling or showing rage and aggression. The genetic variation may be caused by the differential amount of chemicals released in the brain when we experience upsetting situations, which contribute to a greater or lesser physiological and psychological response in those situations.
High reward dependence is characterized by a strong motivation to act in a way that earns social or emotional rewards. Extreme reward dependence may lead to personality or addictive disorders. This trait is moderately heritable, but mostly influenced by our upbringing and environment during development.
Harm avoidance is the tendency to gear actions toward things that yield a low likelihood of potential physical or emotional harm. Individuals with high harm avoidance behavior tend to be more fearful, doubtful, and shy. A study found that harm avoidance personality is associated with the development of anxiety and depression.
Gambling, when done reasonably, can be a entertaining leisure activity. But excessive gambling, which is often tied to personality or other disorders, can be hazardous. Early investigations into the link between genetic markers related to gambling addiction have reported associations with genes involved in the brain’s reward and impulse control systems. Have these SNPs? Then it’s probably best to avoid gambling altogether.
Individuals with high novelty seeking behavior tend to respond more dramatically to novel stimulation and reward signals, and make decisions more impulsively. It is a highly heritable personality trait. Novelty seeking has been found to have a positive correlation with extraversion and a negative correlation with conscientiousness.

“My typology is . . . not in any sense to stick labels on people at first sight. It is not a physiognomy and not an anthropological system, but a critical psychology dealing with the organization and delimitation of psychic processes that can be shown to be typical.” —C.G. Jung

I've pasted the pattern descriptions from the article above.

These "pattern types" are based on Hofstee, De Raade, and Goldberg's AB5C model of personality and were included in the original version of the narrative report generated. A person's two most extreme scores (high or low) determined their pattern. Currently these descriptions do not appear in the narrative report.

Pattern 1.1 PERSONABLE TYPE (High E, High A)
Personable Types enjoy interacting with other people. Personable individuals frequently experience and express positive emotions and are therefore typically well-liked by others. They derive satisfaction from helping, and are well-suited for careers in the helping professions (counseling, teaching, nursing, human services). They are described by others as cheerful, confident, sociable, vigorous, enthusiastic, and friendly.

Pattern 1.2 DOMINEERING TYPE (High E, Low A)
Domineering Types enjoy exerting power and influence over others and strive to control them without taking their feelings into account. They are seen by others as critical, self-centered, stubborn, and bossy.

Pattern 1.3 HUMBLE TYPE (Low E, High A)
Humble Types are peace-loving, somewhat timid, and seek social acceptance by going along with what others want. These individuals are described by others with terms such as calm, agreeable, cooperative, composed, warm, preserving, and submissive.

Pattern 1.4 DISTANT TYPE (Low E, Low A)
Distant Types show an active disinterest in other people. They are detached, skeptical, cynical loners who find little joy in human relations. They are described by others as solitary, depressed, worried, introverted, and shy.

Pattern 2.1 ENTERPRISING TYPE (High E, High C)
Enterprising Types strive for success as defined by conventional social standards. They are ambitious, competitive, achievement-oriented, purposeful, leaderlike, and willing to move into positions of authority. Their probability of success in leadership roles will increase with higher scores on Agreeableness, Emotional Stability, and Openness.

Pattern 2.2 IMPULSIVE TYPE (High E, Low C)
Impulsive Types are exhibitionists who act outrageously in order to attract attention from others. Often rather unconventional, risk- taking, flamboyant, they also need and enjoy social stimulation. They are described by others as talkative, outgoing, changeable, blunt, and outspoken.

Pattern 2.3 INDUSTRIOUS TYPE (Low E, High C)
Industrious Types are businesslike, self-disciplined, orderly workers who prefer to achieve on their own effort than as part of a team. They have great respect for rules and social conventions, and can be counted on to work productively without close supervision. They are described by others with terms such as learned, conscientious, persevering, tactful, cooperative, conservative, reserved, and predictable.

Pattern 2.4 APATHETIC TYPE (Low E, Low C)
Apathetic Types lack energy and direction in life. They are described by others with terms such as passive, unenergetic, unambitious, sluggish, indecisive, aimless, and wishy-washy.

Moody-Manic Types are high-strung, emotional extraverts who have difficulty keeping their feelings in check. Their moods fluctuate up and down unpredictably. Others describe them with terms such as changeable, unorthodox, explosive, undependable, excitable, and volatile.

Pattern 3.3 SATISFIED TYPE (Low E, High S)
Satisfied Types who feel they have risen above the problems of living and are content with things as they are. They see little point in getting involved in a rat-race to struggle to the top of the heap. They see stability and security as more important than getting ahead and are likely to be content with a respectable job in their home town, earning just enough money to make a living. They are described by others with terms such as sedate, tranquil, placid, ethical, responsible, unexcitable, and unassuming.

Pattern 3.4 DISCOURAGED TYPE (Low E, Low S)
Discouraged Types are not happy with their present life situation but feel there is no way out because they lack the ability to improve their life circumstances. Debonair Types are intelligent extraverts. In their worldliness they can be quite witty and charming. They have a flair for the dramatic, and can be histrionic and theatrical. People are naturally attracted to debonair types, but if a debonair type dislikes somebody, he or she can swiftly cut that person to the quick. Therefore, this type is generally described with positive terms such as enterprising, eloquent, forward-looking, confident, and sexy, but can also be described as critical, candid, and intense.

Pattern 4.2 INDISCRETE TYPE (High E, Low O)

Others describe them as agreeable, unambitious, reminiscent, and worried.

Pattern 5.1 COMPROMISING TYPE (High A, High C)

Narrow-minded Types are independent, self-contained, and openly willing to express annoyance with others. Others may find this difficult to deal with. They tend to be intolerant of persons who are different from them, and, in extreme cases, may be prejudiced or bigoted. They are describe by others with such terms as irritable, self-centered, anxious, callous, tactless, and curt. Persistent Types are hard-working, stable individuals who perform well in structured, rule-governed environments. They are described by others as rule-abiding, composed, persevering, conscientious, trustworthy, cooperative, traditional, predictable, simple, and down- to-earth.

Pattern 8.2 FUSSY TYPES (High C, Low S)
Fussy Types are perfectionists who crave structure and order but who never seem to be able to achieve the order and predictability they desire. They may have a dignified, refined, and somewhat reserved air about them. Their perceptive and analytical abilities allow them to see through complex issues rapidly and accurately, allowing them to find quickly the most effective means of achieving desired ends. They are successful perfectionists, well suited for work that requires close concentration, self-control, and attention to detail. They focus on what is happening in their own local area, and adhere to the values and ways of thinking that are typical for their locality. Their neighbors probably regard them as down-to-earth and full of common sense, but outside of their local area they may be regarded as unreflective, unsophisticated, imperceptive, and provincial.

Pattern 10.3 SENSITIVE TYPE (Low S, High O)
Sensitive types are very bright but emotionally sensitive. They pay attention to, and are strongly affected by, things that happen in the world around them. They open themselves to their environment; consequently they enjoy many positive sensory experiences, but on the other hand they are vulnerable to having their feelings hurt. They are described by others as complex and imaginative.

Pattern 10.4 MUDDLED TYPE (Low S, Low O)
Muddled types tend to be anxious about things that lie beyond their limited scope of understanding. They protect themselves by living in the past and showing contempt for novel or foreign ideas They are described by others as irritable, anxious, nervous, reminiscent, apathetic, unambitious, self-centered, unreliable, and negligent.
According to this I have a few possible types.

The Compromising Type (High Agreeableness and Conscientiousness)
    $pat51 = Pattern 5.1 COMPROMISING TYPE (High A, High C)
Compromising Types are oriented toward getting along with others. Valuing interpersonal harmony, they are more likely to compromise than confront in a difficult situation. They are described by other people as cooperative, persevering, composed, trustworthy, empathic, agreeable, traditional, simple, old-fashioned, predictable, down-to- earth, and preserving.

The Tolerant Type High Agreeableness and Openness)
$pat71 = Pattern 7.1 TOLERANT TYPE (High A, High O)Tolerant Types are open to, and accepting of, differences in other people. They care about the feelings of others and tend to take their opinions into account when making decisions. Their social skills are reasonably well-developed and they normally relate well to others in both co-worker and supervisory roles. They are described by others with such terms as good-natured, empathic, genial, tactful, diplomatic, calm, and poised.

or the Cultured Type (High Conscientiousness and Openness)
    $pat91 = Pattern 9.1 CULTURED TYPE (High C, High O)
Cultured Types are imaginative and resourceful in their thinking but conforming and traditional in their behavior. They use their intellectual skills to contribute to the common good. Others describe them as rule- abiding, persevering, learned, well-read, empathic, trustworthy, industrious, leaderlike, traditional, silent, and reserved.

Don't know if I truly relate to any of these, maybe the Tolerant or the Cultured Types.

I found this interesting article about personality patterns in the Big Five.

There are 40 possible patterns and it is obtained by taken your most two extreme scores (either highest and/or lowest).

    For example, my result is:
    Openness to Experience - 76
    Conscientiousness - 58
    Extraversion - 12
    Agreeableness - 38
    Neuroticism - 55

My most two extreme scores are low extraversion and high openness

Here is my pattern type, which I say is quite accurate:

BOOKWORMISH TYPE (Low E, High O)
Bookwormish Types are highly intellectual, introspective, self- examining loners. Although they keep to themselves, their level of intelligence and learning garners them respect for others. They are described by other persons as learned, well-read, persevering, rule- abiding, calm, and industrious.

I also think neuroticism is probably high in actuality rather than just average. So I could also be this pattern:
DISCOURAGED TYPE (Low E, Low S)
Discouraged Types are not happy with their present life situation but feel there is no way out because they lack the ability to improve their life circumstances. They are perceived by others as unambitious, unenergetic, shy, solitary, passive, introverted, cowardly, pessimistic, insecure, and fearful.

    Or maybe even this one:

SENSITIVE TYPE (Low S, High O)
    Sensitive types ar
e very bright but emotionally sensitive. They pay attention to, and are strongly affected by, things that happen in the world around them. They open themselves to their environment; consequently they enjoy many positive sensory experiences, but on the other hand they are vulnerable to having their feelings hurt. They are described by others as complex and imaginative.

Thanks for sharing @chips and underwear !

The test that can be found on that website is the best one on the Big 5 I've found so far.

Your score on Extraversion is low, indicating you are introverted, reserved, and quiet. You enjoy solitude and solitary activities. Your socializing tends to be restricted to a few close friends.

Your score on Agreeableness is low, indicating less concern with others' needs Than with your own. People see you as tough, critical, and uncompromising.

Your score on Conscientiousness is low, indicating you like to live for the moment and do what feels good now. Your work tends to be careless and disorganized. Note: I used to be much more conscientious years ago... I am working on it... >_> (Actually, I might have been too extremely conscientious, and now I am being the opposite.)

Your score on Neuroticism is average, indicating that your level of emotional reactivity is typical of the general population. Stressful and frustrating situations are somewhat upsetting to you, but you are generally able to get over these feelings and cope with these situations.

Your score on Openness to Experience is high, indicating you enjoy novelty, variety, and change. You are curious, imaginative, and creative.

Pattern 4.3 BOOKWORMISH TYPE (Low E, High O)
Bookwormish Types are highly intellectual, introspective, self- examining loners. Although they keep to themselves, their level of intelligence and learning garners them respect for others. They are described by other persons as learned, well-read, persevering, rule-abiding, calm, and industrious.
    Or

Pattern 9.3 FANCIFUL/IMAGINATIVE TYPE (Low C, High O) Fanciful/Imaginative Types are unconventional nonconformists who pride themselves on being different from others. They are not so much openly antisocial and disruptive in their behavior as they are fanciful, impractical, and unconcerned about the general welfare of others. They are described by others as complex, imaginative, and critical.
    Or

Pattern 7.3 INDIVIDUALISTIC TYPE (Low A, High O)
Individualistic types consider themselves to be unique and more intelligent than most people around them. In extreme cases they might be regarded as eccentric, but in most cases they are perceived by others as complex, well-read, imaginative, and industrious.
At the moment, the second description applies the best to me. At my most natural and balanced self, I'm like the first description. Funny thing is, I really was a typical bookworm in my youth, spending almost all of my free-time reading.

    There seems to be HEXACO.

    • Honesty-Humility
    • Emotionality
    • eXtraversion
    • Agreeableness (versus Anger)
    • Conscientiousness
    • Openness to Experience

Makes more sense to me. Neuroticism makes very little sense to me (and also agreeableness) as it seems to include bit of emotionality in it.

Yeah I find those summaries at the similarminds site pretty good actually. RCOEN for me there and it's surprisingly good, too. Not 100% fitting but somehow there is a pattern in it that does fit unlike the other 31 summaries the site has .

Took test again, and then averaged today's scores, old scores and the percentile scores from the Big 5 portion of this other thread to get:

    AVERAGE TEST SCORE PERCENTILES

    O 76
    C 71
    E 09
    A 25
    N 16

O and C are always high. N and E are always low. Agreeableness varies by test. Sloan RCoeI

High scorers tend to be reliable, well-organized, self-disciplined, careful; Low scorers tend to be disorganized, undependable, negligent.
You probably have a messy desk! (Your percentile: 4)
(Yes, but only at home. At my job I'm more organized and orderly.)

    Extraversion
High scorers tend to be sociable, friendly, fun loving, talkative; Low scorers tend to be introverted, reserved, inhibited, quiet.
You are neither particularly social or reserved. (Your percentile: 59)

    Agreeableness
High scorers tend to be good natured, sympathetic, forgiving, courteous; Low scorers tend to be critical, rude, harsh, callous.
You find it easy to express irritation with others. (Your percentile: 32)

    Well, this sounds familiar

Pattern 2.2 IMPULSIVE TYPE (High E, Low C)

Impulsive Types are exhibitionists who act outrageously in order to attract attention from others. Often rather unconventional, risk- taking, flamboyant, they also need and enjoy social stimulation. They are described by others as talkative, outgoing, changeable, blunt, and outspoken.

Pattern 4.1 DEBONAIR TYPE (High E, High O)

Debonair Types are intelligent extraverts. In their worldliness they can be quite witty and charming. They have a flair for the dramatic, and can be histrionic and theatrical. People are naturally attracted to debonair types, but if a debonair type dislikes somebody, he or she can swiftly cut that person to the quick. Therefore, this type is generally described with positive terms such as enterprising, eloquent, forward-looking, confident, and sexy, but can also be described as critical, candid, and intense.

If you are that low in Conscientiousness, I cannot see you as an extroverted rational type, especially not ENTj. They tend to score fairly high in Conscientiousness as a rule.

I tend to score Very high in conscientiousness (like the 96th percentile), around 85 in Openness, 75 or so in extroversion, 20 in Agreeableness lol and like 15 or so in Neuroticism (very calm and low stress individual).

That roughly correlates to an ENTj, at least in Jungian terms.

Orderliness is consistently low. Openness is relatively high. Extraversion is right on the fence. Emotional stability is about the same. Agreeableness is slightly more "no" than "si". This has always been a test to gauge mood for me. There's probably a reason why similarminds can recycle the same questions for different systems which recycle the same dichotomies where the results are more-or-less the same "types" with slightly different labels.

I disagree with style!~ And yeah I'm pretty closed to new experiences, I prefer to purify them not expand them. I can only be interested in like two things at a time.

I am always cognizant and conscientious but sometimes I plan out the times when I can get away with not giving a fuck, planned chaos is how I roll. It's not like spontaneity is a personality trait of mine no.

    Correlation does not mean certainty.
SLI is a really bad typing for me, btw, because I have strong and , both valued and conscious.
I have clearly values of alpha quadra.
The only alternative type for me would be ILE.

Did you link a photo to yourself in a recent type thread of croww? You looked somewhat ILI in it.
