That's one of the things I hate most about MBTI that it sends the somewhat veiled message that introverts are doing something wrong by being introverted.

MBTI, Western Society, all those Hollywood starlets and popstars who tell their tales of how shy and awkward they used to be back in school, but now thanks to acting/music/therapy/drugs/theshamelessbrownnosingyesmenandwomenoftheirentour age they can truely express their confident outgoing obnoxious selves. hooray for consumer culture, hooray for the adulation of the expressive individual, hooray for life in the late capitialistic paradise.
