Really Old Best Friends

I have an ILE friend who is becoming a better friend lately. She's probably not quite as old as my mother, but maybe 15 years older than I am? At least, possibly 20. But my best friends have always been around my age. It makes sense, usually. Cause you're going through a similar life stage as others in your age bracket. Oh, I also have younger friends. Like 20 years younger than me. That's kinda fun too. but yeah, most of my lifelong friends are my age.

Hmm, I can't say that this is true for me, but that can be related to a lack of oppurtunity to befriend old people. I grew up with almost no contact to my grandparents (they died when I was young, or lived far away) and everyone I knew well was either my age or older, just not that old.

My husband's best friend is a generation older than we are. I think old people are cool but I don't hang out with any. On the other hand, maybe I qualify as an old person myself.
