Explains a lot.
Seeing things as they are, they are driven mad by it.
In the spirit of good art:
Couldn't watch that religious stuff, no offence. I think I'm not properly boozed up yet and I can't think straight. All I see in art is paper, paint and junk that actually doesn't do anything at all, it is just there taking up space.
Me walking into an art gallery is like me joining IRC and exclaiming what the fuck is that.
amazing how quickly the comradery dies
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,
Under cerulean skies...
i think insane people are just attracted to the idea of art. the truth is an artist is just as likelY to be a drY, incrediblY boring person as theY are to be insane and free spirited. also depends how You're defining artist tho. i know some free-spirited, dramatic people who like to identifY themselves as artists but reallY they don't do shit. also some of the best artists i know have been dull personalitY wise. idk i'll watch the video when mY internet doesn't suck, but artist is just too vague a word. we talking about someone skilled in the arts or 'artistic' in a personalitY waY...
maybe a saint is just a dead prick with a good publicist
maybe tommorow's statues are insecure without their foes
go ask the frog what the scorpion knows
people who fancy themselves artists tend to be attracted to the idea of insanity. genuinely insane people don't have enough of a reference point to claim a role -- but the only difference between the emperor and schizophrenic in their proclamations is the getup, so yeah.
