    Default Schizotypal Personality Questionnaire

    http://schizotypaldisorder.webs.com/test.htm

Would be interesting to see people's results!

    EDIT

Due to the way the site is written, Chrome users will need to mid-click or ctrl-click the button at the bottom to not lose their results.

Yes, I'm sure that I'd score higher if I took this test at times of higher stress. My social anxiety increases as does my tendancy to see find comfort in various types of magical thinking... e.g. perhaps that billboard is telling me to do what that cat indicatedI should do when it meowed at me whilst I was thinking about doing that thing, which I didn't do, but now that billboard is kind of confirming that I should do that... thing.

    lol meh

This test seems like it might unfavor introverts. Who doesn't have some sort of mental disorder these days? Seems more uncommon to not have anything.

That's ridiculous, you of all people should know that introversion in Socionics does not equate to stereotypical introversion. Even if it did, it still won't impact whether you have the disorder or not. That's like saying being an EXXP lowers your chances of having an ADHD diagnosis because you have characteristics in your personality that make you more likely to have it, which makes no sense at all.

Introversion trait might be correlated with it—at least insofar as how this particular test is measuring schizotypy. Obviously it doesn't impact whether you have schizotypy or not, since correlation ≠ causation.

But c'mon, if you've a test with questions like "I am mostly quiet when with other people," introverts on average are going to score slightly higher. Don't see why you're debating this.
I'll agree with you on this, but what I don't understand is why would being an introvert disqualify 10 points from schizotypy? It shouldn't be deducted just because their personality makes them more schizotypal. Plus taking out 10 points seems highly arbitrary anyways.

So I assume that you follow the same standard for the schizotypal test by subtracting exxp traits for ADHD and subtracting inxx traits for schizotypal? If you're going to subtract points for introversion, you might as well subtract points for intuition, while you're at it.

The only clear trait that would signify introversion that would cause you to get a higher score is probably suspicion imo. What do odd speech, eccentric behavior, points of reference and magical beliefs have anything to do with introversion? I'd say eccentric behavior might be linked with intuition if anything. Having no close friends is probably irrelevant to introversion as introverts put more energy into having less, but more personal relationships, even though it might be more difficult to achieve for them than extraverts, so it balances out that way. I think what's the most obvious to me is the correlation between being a 6 and being schizotypal. Being tested for levels of social anxiety and levels of suspicion, which are clear 6 traits.

Introverts have more of their own world whereas extroverts live more in a world 'shared by others' and thus in a 'normal' world. Look at all the nuts! Introverts all of them.

I have no trouble in keeping and forming long term relationships; the only trouble I really have is opening up, emotionally, discussing about the things I feel about from the inner depths openly with people; that takes me a very long time and until then, in the hopes of not letting too much of myself be known to others, I keep it in and can be distant from people.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

    Another link for that questionnaire?

I was bit of denial about this. Then I read Millon's descriptions (book) of personality disorders and schizotypal personality sounded bit freaky from my point of view. I'm not disordered, though. Pretty much everyone likes to state I'm not normal normal average person (mostly in positive way). I have very weird perception. I notice things that other's can't "see" but it is not through sensory perception. On the other hand I'm the kind of person who messes up things in the "real world". It wasn't unusual for me that I did the given problem set only to find that half of the problems had wrong numbers on the next day (I was completely drug free and sober). I have very weird connection to the outside world.
