I really don't get this whole delta equals boring thing. IEE's are described as being charismatic attention whores, SLI's are stereotyped as daredevils, LSE's are loud and tell it like it is and EII's are some of the most imaginative people around. How are those characteristics boring?

I don't get it. I just don't get it. I must have missed a meeting somewhere along the line. Someone explain it to me.

I just go "meh" when I read about Deltas being boring. If boring means not liking loud environments and getting wasted, then I'm definitely boring.

I actually like getting wasted, but I don't like super loud, crowded places, lol. I prefer chill environments where I can hear the person talking next to me and I don't feel like I'm being overcharged for alcohol. Would much rather take a couple bottles to a friend's place (bonus if there's a pool) and get smashed with them and a few other people than go to a club.

You clearly haven't talked with the deltas on here before.

I suppose Abbie, Wawa, and EoP aren't deltas here.

    Oh swell, I've been conned.
    She is wise
    beyond words
    beautiful within
    her soul
    brighter than
    the sun
    lovelier than
    love
    dreams larger
    than life
    and does not
    understand the
    meaning of no.
    Because everything
through her, and in her, is
    "Yes, it will be done."

"Boring" is kind of like "beauty" - subjective with vague objective tendencies.

I'm glad to see, though, that there apparently are enough non-boring Deltas, ESTjs specifically, to satisfy the desires of... whoever feels the need for them.

Kate Mulgrew is LSE? I'm not opposed to the idea.
Oh, to find you in dreams - mixing prior, analog, and never-beens... facts slip and turn and change with little lucidity. except the strong, permeating reality of emotion.

Angela Lansbury is one of my favorite LSE I think this is a great picture of a classical LSE facial frame:

Did I mention I love my duals? They are so beautiful, strong, and just look very sensory to me, next to my skinny, tiny scrawny body

    Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
    Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

No, I just think you need to know what "being boring" really is.

Here are a few opposites of "boring:"
agitate, anger, annoy, bother, chafe, disturb, fluster, goad, irritate, mock, provoke, taunt, beguile, enslave, divert, snare

Oh. So that's what you've been doing to me all the while.

    Here's a picture of non-boring.

Note the potential to be boring.
