What if what someone wants to accomplish in life is answering questions about religion, social problems, and wide scale mental disorders?

I'm not sure why everyone treats depression as if its some diseased vermin that needs to be rid from the earth. Searching for answers is an important part of figuring out who you are and what you want. Those questions aren't bigger than yourself, those questions define what people do and how they do them. When you neglect the search for answers, you end up bouncing from one moment to the next always looking unconsciously for something to satisfy the answers to those questions. It is a form of escapism, just as distancing yourself from the population in search for those answers is escapism.
