i really cannot see infj (in her music, interviews, etc.)
    i really think she's infp.
the mannerisms in the last video posted really remind me of marilyn monroe's. i also thought that her response about her latest album was unexpected (if you're thinking that she's infj). i think infj's like more to define things themselves and to sort of make sure that people see their ideals and visions the way that they do.
does her musical style remind anyone else of tori amos?

Yeah, people say tori amos a lot.

There's definitely a lot of Fe in her lyrics and musical arrangements... Also, I see what you mean about Marilyn Monroe in that last interview... Typing by just those elements, I'd tend agree with you about INFp... I'll tell you what too, her accent throws me for a loop, haha.

I've noticed this though: in her interviews, Fe is not very strong. Fi is more so... I could see her being INFp if behaviors that I've classified as Fi may just be Fe in an one-on-one, intimate interview setting... The group interview posted, however, seems to contradict this idea.

In other words, good point, lol... I'm not so sure about typing her as Delta anymore.

My impression is that she seems to have a focused intensity. And that she wouldn't mind being manhandled. I'd say beta NF for her.

Personally she makes me uneasy. I feel wary about her. She feels untrustworthy.

I actually feel this way too, somewhat. She seems too intense and out there to me...not necessarily untrustworthy though. It's hard for me to identify with her.

To clarify ^, I went back and re-watched the videos and concluded that I base my perception on her performances, not her interviews.

Yes about the intensity thing. When I watch her performances, her videos, I get seriously put off. Like she sacrifices quality of production for theatrics.

I get the impression of being careful around her from her interviews. She strikes me as being shifty.

Yes, I agree with this. The "overacting" thing really puts me off in general. I know there's a point to it in the theatrical sense, but it just doesn't appeal to me. It strikes me as fake, which I can't stand.

    Good point.

I have a hard time typing her really.
Right now I'm thinking INFp. But I'm not entirely sure.

It's awesome when we talk about things like this and arrive at a consensus... I feel like I understand INFp's better.

not when it's the result of Groupthink though.... but I don't think that's the case here.

yeah, I agree... I haven't seen a lot of groupthink on this forum, at least lately... there are a lot of pretty independent-minded ppl here at this point in time.

I see a lot of Fe and very little Fi in the interviews, actually. It's just that subtle Fe creative kind.

Also, the thing about Kate Bush's music is that there is so much Fe. Any musician/actor/whatever is going to seem more Fe-ish, but I don't think any type other than Fe-ego would _choose_ Kate Bush's style as his/her personal artistic expression. Just watching her music videos and imagining myself doing her thing gives me an immediate "I would never do that in public" feeling, which makes sense to me because I have 8th function Fe.

I admit, it's a lot more subtle than I'm used to seeing...

I'm leaning with you toward INFp.

I vote IEI. She really REALLY reminds me of Marilyn Monroe in her interviews. The way they look around with that "look" that I now associate with the softer IEIs. It's a very dreamy, "not quite there" thing, with eyes wandering around absentmindedly as if they are searching for just the right words to answer the question with.

Her music is over-the-top, lol, I just watched some videos and her dancing is um... interesting? But I am strangely drawn to her. I feel a relation to her which usually comes with Beta NFs. She has that freaky, odd quality that IEIs tend to have, especially IEIs in the entertainment industry.

    IEEs are not like that.

Yeah. The more I look at her videos the more I can see movements that really remind me of this INFp I know. Her posture, how she uses her eyebrows, etc.

she is xNFp. The most notable aspect of her interviews is the ease with which she communicates.
