    Here, have some candy.
    She is wise
    beyond words
    beautiful within
    her soul
    brighter than
    the sun
    lovelier than
    love
    dreams larger
    than life
    and does not
    understand the
    meaning of no.
    Because everything
through her, and in her, is
    "Yes, it will be done."

That would be Positivist/Negativist; I've jumped the gun on typings many times, much to the bewilderment of INTxs
In Gulenko's writing on different styles of logic (this one) it seems like indeed he has tried at first to associate this style of reasoning with positivism/negativism. However, his later article on cognitive styles this "jumping the gun" vs starting working your way up is associated with evolutionary/involutionary which represents process/result dichotomy.

So iono ... from what I've observed it is indeed process/result division that most closely corresponds to this difference rather than pos/neg dichtomy. Process types are more likely to have a style that sort of rolls forwards, adding simpler arguments one by one to achieve some more complex conclusion, taking some axioms and building on them. Result types seem to have a style that is descriptive, first trying to relay the whole picture and then attempting to cut it into simpler parts.

    Nice

That sounds spot-on for me; with the typing thread, for instance, I start with whatever dichotomy (or pair of dichotomies) hits me the hardest, then I overlay more and more, until either one type remains, or the choice is obvious.

If Positivist/Negativist is maintained, but with Process/Result weighted more strongly as a determining factor in this, we're left with the following, from fastest to slowest:

I gotta find the next relevant dichotomy to plug in here... Judicious/Decisive? If I do that, then we're left with this:

These are generalizations, of course, and it would take a good deal of human examples to nail this down (or a different arrangement if this one should falter too much), but there could definitely be something here...

I'm translating an article on process-result which states similar along these lines. It's one long-ass article tho so will take a while. Once I post it up you should re-post these tables in it

I dont know Hyradngea but from what I can infer she doesnt seem IEI at all. Not enough emotional naturallness, spontaniety or emotionality at all. No is what Im geting at, or Ni. EII, on the other hand, makes perfect sense, restrained emotions, no need for wackiness etc and resvered in attitudes but in a more sincere form then ESIs, who are quite sensual towards people. She doesnt seem sensual but spiritual, so nother reason to consider valueing.

That's a good idea. I've been celibate for seven months.

Since I believe you're a very healthy person (much healthier than I am), here's a link (on the subject of celibate people who are healthy):

Is there a reason as to why cognitive styles are used in here? I mean, they're ripped off completely, only names are changed and some things expanded. First time I saw it posted on here, I read a few lines and knew I heard about this before, but didn't bother to actually check it.

Here they are used to explain personality/type. I knew them before being applied in politics/economics, damn long ago, but still...

    Hey Hydrangea

Get the fuck out Typhon. You may not say anything against me or Hydrangea. Fuck off.

Unless you aim to wish condolence to Freja. I mean it.

Or shall I use more Shakespearean language: Dear sir, my good man. I, your humble servant, sincerely applaud your untimely manliness in exhibiting thy great and almighty strength. You have indeed shown that you will not back down from any genteel fight, and will push courage to the end. This gentle lady whose friend and kin, although be-furred and cuddly, has breathed one last beloved breath in her blessed hearth; and we do not take kindly to unkindly treatment of past-wounded souls in this part of the king's residence. We humbly beseech thee to amend thy tone, and precious choice of words, or my bearings will not allow me to stand unguarded; the King's sword shall be summoned against thee, and if he shall not strike or smite thee that thou shalt repent, God himself, if He should desire to show justice and mercy, will converse with thee Himself. I shudder to think of its consequence.

    I feel like a child.

Fell asleep on your floor, woke up in a bed.

Only remember you saying, "I'm going to shower and brush my teeth, I'll be back in twenty minutes. Don't fall asleep."

Schwoops. I'm sorry about that. You know me when I'm feeling particularly exhausted.

@hydrangea I believe based upon this thread that you are EII.

You appear to be very delta quadra in terms of 'positive congeniality'. You also appear to value your internal image highly, these thread is not exploration merely rebutal.

Do note however that a thread is not a great deal to go on!

Note: I'm carefully drawing a line over previous interactions to allow a plain decision making/judgement space. Otherwise I be predisposed by my earlier judgements on infjs.
