There is this notion of testing idea in ILE. It's like a pulsion driven by Ne that leads them to take actions and put to the test their ideas by trying to working them out (Te). I think that the demonstrative is what a type does for itself to serve its own interests this is why in Model G it's called the creative function because it really is and it serves the leading function. You see that pattern in everything Kemper was doing. He would test the limits, and work i.e. deploy energy to put himself in movement for the sake of his curiosity, to push the limits , test, learn along the way and be better at what he is trying to achieve. Now, what does he gain from that ? A great DOSE (Dopamine - Oxytocin - Serotonin - Endorphin (the cocktail of happiness)) of Si satisfactions (feel good and relieved). What launches the cycle ? Fe a passionate hate for his mother, he talked about his internal state a lot but didn't have a clue about Fi stuff.

Kemper was a sick fuck. I doubt myself or any other ILE can relate to Kemper. You can prettily say it;s functions but you're full of it. He had mommy issues. That's clear. .

Of course Kemper is very sick to say the least. In what I said, I didn't mean for any healthy ILE to relate to a serial killer. The thing is that we're talking about his sociotype, it's about the process not the content. With that said my typing skills sucks !!

I have studied psychology and the human condition all my life (even if it's not that obvious ahah !). Yes, you're right about the "mommy issues" , again he hated his mother passionately (even if he was probably not very aware of it , he felt it inside (Fe) (?))

''obsession'' with a perceived task is more just a rational thing. and discussing others' types on a typology forum isn't bordering on harassment. that idea of yours is also an argument for you being F (you see clearly the deterioration of relations/emotional atmosphere because of logical disagreement, and are compelled to act on it), and not valuing Ne (multitude of perspectives/opinions on a person's type isn't seen as so valuable). and introverts are more often touchy/afraid of excessive attention towards them

I don't think it takes a high development of ethical functions to see that there's some weird stuff going on there with their relationship. sol has asked me a couple of times to type Maritsa now even though I have no connection to that person.

why would I, being a Ti base type, a function that is about reducing a myriad of options to the essentials, be interested in multiple perspectives of someones type? the point of my type is to give an answer or result that is as precise as possible, not a handful of options that don't make sense, especially since a type is a type and you can only have one, instead of five that you switch around on a whim.

don't laugh, but I did consider Beta NF as the second option, but I don't think the current structure of socionics allows you to type him this way. he comes across like a snake-oil salesman with how he presents that mug, making an ordinary object look like something exciting, which is something I associate with Fe. the guy he talks to who "invented" this mug seemed ethical at first glance to me too, also with the way he made sure to mention that his grandfather served in the army to appeal to the boomer audience. it all looks rather bizarre and fake, maybe you are right. it's usually not content I watch.
