Probably a place somebody lives in. Like Japan, etc.
I'd like to taste octopus once, however I prefer pizza, kebap and foods one can prepare at home.

Who here has killed an octopus? It's easy. You stab it in the water, it bleeds (dark fluid comes out of it), you take it out, grill it, eat it. Granted, I haven't done it myself, nor do I plan to. But if I somehow find myself on a deserted island and survival instincts kick in, I might be tempted to hunt me some seafood.

Octopus meat is nice, bit chewy. These things are slick motherfuckers in the water though, good luck just stabbing one.

What? Octopus is delicious...especially fried or grilled.

The side of the lid on the jar of my jarred minced garlic says the conversion. I think mine is 1/4 tablespoon = 1 clove.

Fresh salmon was on offer so I bought 2 kilos and prepared some gravlax (a Nordic dish consisting of raw salmon, cured in salt, sugar, and dill) and sweet potato sauce. I'm a horrible cook but this shit is awesome. I really wish I had a camera, but I don't so this is from google:

Venison, green stuff, plenty of cayenne, tomato & bacon dressing that's better here than on a salad, plus other odds and ends. A dandy juncture of savory and spicy with a hint of the smoky and sweet.

That would be a porterhouse under that pile of mushrooms, onions, and garlic sauteed in butter and white wine.

The plates I've presently got were found somewhere or another after all the others I had were broken through slip-ups or during my frequent moves. Any time I've actually purchased a set of plates they've been solid black.

A new eatery opened this week and they had so much business that they were closed today until suppertime due to lack of food. Menu appears to be fusiony and Asiany.

Korean bbq pork and kimchee lettuce wrap.

Shrimp po-boy w/ celery root remoulade and pickled sweet peppers.

My LSE old man made PB&J omelets a time or three when I was pre-pubic and they were pretty tasty even though the combination might not make a priori sense. I wouldn't recommend them for regular eating, but in concert with a stack of flapjacks the PB&J omelet is decidedly killer.
