This was my Easter dinner. Unfortunately, I was moving around too much and took a blurry picture.

^dinner yesterday. I didn't eat both! Saved some of the beef for a lunch wrap sandwich today.

Today - hot oatmeal with cinnamon and slivered Royal Gala apples.

@Park Thanks. They were tasty, especially after the hot Thai chili sauce I like to add. Compliments to my dual hubby for putting them together and grilling.

why yes i did. this way if you stick the fork at a ninety degree angle into this arrangement you'll get a nice little tomato+basil+mozareela sandwich @smallspongeUSA and all those basil leaves were homegrown, turned out basil is a fucking weed.

if i knew how to get high on basil i'd be rich now lol

weed in the other meaning of the word - we planted it into this tiny cup of soil and it grew to occupy several feet of the window crowding out all the other herbs. and once you prick its leaves it grows new ones from the very same node. amazing plant.

My new favorite homemade recipe: slow cooker loaded baked potato soup. I made a batch with 6 lbs of potatoes and it didn't last 24 hours between us and my in-laws.

I've been practicing making eggs benedict for a little while now, and this is the best I've made yet! The yolks are a little overcooked though.

I've made a couple videos on eggs too. Perhaps some of you are interested in taking a look. They aren't the best made videos but I learned a lot making them. I'll know how to do better next time. Here's one on eggs benedict:

    And another on Hollandaise Sauce:
