I tend to agree that Jane Fonda is ISFj. Have you seen Barefoot in the Park? I think the main characters are an ENTj/ISFj duality.

Ok, perhaps we should discuss her in a separate thread.
I don't think the movie is good evidence to type the real person. My own reasons for seeing ENFj for her are some interviews and some of the things she said and did in her life.

If you see this interview, you'll see she gives almost instanteneous reponses + talks quickly - INFps for example seem more uncertain 'erm...' + talk slower. She seems to store energy in her cheeks before speaking, INFps have a more relaxed face (IMO).

also, i thought matt bellamy was an ENTp, i dont know much about him though. actually looking at many photos of him I could see ENFj or IxFp.

Hmm, yeah, I just saw a few interviews of him, and he does seem like an ENFj.
Achtung Baby.
His voice and lyrics (e.g. the album Absolution, one of my favs ) seem to match ENFj the best - full of alarm and panic etc. He seems pretty hyper too, if unusual - I don't think he's INFp. I did consider ENTp as a possibility before though.Originally Posted by tempral
She seems to revel in Beta type things IMO - I thought she had quite strong and she seems driven in a Exxj type way. She directs films and is able to express intense emotions in these films, from interviews I've read. Other than that, my typing isn't so strong for her .Originally Posted by implied
I can only find four quotes by her at the moment: (I think they show her to be Beta, but I know ISFps can I sound like this).

there are 3 levels of sword mastery :
1.: ability to win with sword in your hand.
2.: ability to win without sword in your hand, but in your soul.
3, and the hightest one: without having sword nor in hand not in soul be able to win and bring peace to people.

Meeting him professionally, first time, he also makes the impression of "having it all together". He's confident when making presentations and he seems knowledgeable. If questions go deeper than a certain level, though, he may not know the answer but somehow answer it in a way that makes not knowing the answer not important.
He likes to discuss "big topics" in casual conversation, as the future of the EU, politics, etc. However, to my eyes, he has some certain core beliefs on which he bases his points of view; if you present conflicting points of view that challenge such beliefs, he gets a little lost, as in "I can't believe an intelligent person wouldn't see it the same way". But he doesn't get angry, confrontational or aggressive over such matters.
As a senior sales manager, he liked traveling and giving presentations and holding "strategic" meetings. He deeply disliked having to actually crunch numbers or even go through routine paperwork. The female secretaries and accountants were sort of "immune" to his charm because they disliked this side of him.

I'll start.
V.
Betas don't necessarily break rules as a characteristic.
With that in mind, I'm not EIE but here's one good example from movies, Xerxes from 300:

Winry (blond mechanic chick) from Fullmetal Alchemist. The main guy Ed (with blond long hair) is definitely ISTj, especially with the serious-sounding Japanese voice-actor! They're really cure together.

We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,

Several people have PMd me, asking for lists of famous people of various types... Time permitting, I'll try to put up more, (for at least beta.)
Please add to the list... It's pretty limited bc it's off the top of my head.

John Lennon
Salvador Dali
Oscar Wilde
Bono
Rush Limbaugh
Jean Cocteau
Seth MacFarlane
Jerry Springer
Hugh Hefner
Howard Stern

John F. Kennedy
Ben Affleck
Kelsey Grammar
Ronald Reagan
Bill Clinton
Liza Minnelli
Marilyn Manson
Magic Johnson
Robert Downey Jr.

Paula Abdul
Most of these seem legit, but I have to disagree on lennon, who is clearly some alpha irrational, and ben affleck, who has always seemed more Si overall to me, and probably introverted.
