I think Alice is probably either INFj or ENFp, going off memory. Saw the movie a long time ago, but it seems right.

Wow, Poli.
I'd almost forgotten about this thread...
Anyway, I like the above two typings. Especially Snow White (Cinderella might be ESI, though).
My SEI sister-in-law reminds me of Snow White, all smiles and cheerfulness as she goes about her chores, seemingly in love with everyone and everything. It sounds sickening the way I'm describing it, but really it's a rather contagious attitude when I'm around her.

Lets talk about Cars. That's a favorite in this house.
I love Disney movies!

Must admit I am usually very disturbed by Disney movies. I watched "The Little Mermaid" a couple of weeks ago and was really upset for a day or so after. I'd made my boyfriend see it w/ me for the music and the French chef, and it left him in a bad mood, too. I know it's not the music, which is excellent--I had the soundtrack for years and listened to it in my car, never bothered by it. So it's something about the characters, which are held up as exemplars of all that is good but in a way I would never want to or be able to emulate. And the nature of what is represented as evil--no, yuck.
Btw, Ariel is Beta:
Okay, yeah, I totally buy that Disney movies represent my opposite quadra. And yeah, Ariel is ENFp all over the place.
ETA: Maybe when I have some free time I'll start a thread on Looney Tunes. Looove.
ETA2, Little Mermaid: Is King Triton kinda LSE? Is Sebastian kinda LII? Is Eric kinda SLI? Is Ursula just a mish-mash of Beta types?

So I had a friend tell me the other day that they really like Pocahontas and that they identify with Stitch (in Stitch and Lilo). So my question is, what are their types?
I personally think that Pocahontas is either ESTp or ENFp. . . I'm not sure as to which because I haven't really sat down and analyzed her. All I know is I grew up wishing I could be more like her. Her spirit of freedom entices me. . .
Stitch to me seems like a curious type. . . maybe ENFj/ENFp/ESTp? Unsure as to which. . .
So what do y'all think?
EDIT
I also identify a LOT with Cinderella. . . is she perhaps, ESFj?
Pocahontas seems Delta gone racist and historically inaccurate.
Lilo + Stitch seems more Alpha on the surface, remember nothing about it though.
Cinderella is every type who's always wanted to get something good out of life without ever actually trying.
Pocahontas always seemed SEE or possibly ESI to me.
Lilo and Stitch...dunno some kind of Delta movie.
Wow, you're a dickhead. Nevermind the fact that a lot of people live in grinding poverty or live in nearly slave-like conditions and Cinderella is a story about meeting their own Prince Charming to lift them out of their stricken state. So please don't ever post here again.

But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,
Under cerulean skies...
More like:
"ITT MisterNi calls out Galen's pathetically self-involved bourgeoisitis."
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,
Under cerulean skies...
No, you were just too right for his brain
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,
Under cerulean skies...

Maybe IEE for Pocahontas, seemed free-spirited, idealistic, the attention span of a rabbit and obsessed with the Si surrounding her

The problem is in your oversight, and consequent slander, of the sentiment that inspires and underlies the story. You just look like an ass because you have no thought for what might have gone into the story.
Personally I think the story is detestable from the Disnified modern standpoint, esp. combined with outmoded views of gender roles, but I can't help but agree that the idea behind it shouldn't be slandered.

I'm well familiar with the story, as I'm not so dumb as to be utterly oblivious to the underlying themes and universality of the story (Cinderella stories have cropped up in basically every nation around the globe long before Disney had anything to do with it). You guys are just being way over-reactive, and I can't for the life of me understand why. Do you two have a personally vested interest in the story or what?

Fact: Cinderella speaks to millions around the world living in grinding poverty and with little no opportunity to escape their situation. For those with nothing to cling to in life but a desperate faith in the salvation of a miracle, Cinderella is a story of hope and patience.
Fact: Cinderella also speaks to billions around the world who fail day after day to make anything worthwhile of their lives on account a misplaced sense of self entitlement. For them who are unwilling face down reality and make the most of what they've been given, Cinderella is a story of self-delusion and egocentrism.
Fact: Galen is not "utterly oblivious to the underlying themes" of Cinderella. He is aware of how those themes have played into the deluded fantasies of teen girls the western world over.
Fact: Interpreting the cultural role of a fairy tale does not make someone a dickhead. To insult a person for interpreting the cultural role of a fairy tale might well make someone a dickhead.

I always thought Pochaontas was hot, btw, but maybe just because I like swarthy girls.
