    Default Jimi Hendrix

Between and seems like a good place to start.

    Interest in psychedelia
Most of his lyrical music is highly detailed with dynamic characters/setting.
    He had his own style.
He uses a sarcastic deep voice to make fun of people
He wrote songs about different people and their troubles.
In interviews he seems distant, and when playing he loses himself.

Lived the rockstar life, not sure to what degree though
He played towering, crushing riffs on some songs
He also had a lot of loner/loser songs, which makes me think SxE or IxI.
A few of his songs from Are You Experienced, are characteristic of Aggressor-Victim.

His music is highly emotional, but his behavior doesn't seem to be. In MBTI I thought *STP. But it really does seem to come down to ILI. I'm not sure either, it's just the IEIs I know aren't as shy as Jimi but still a little goofy-shy.

An ILI at rest tends to remain at rest
and an ILI in motion is probably not an ILI
