Then why all the questions if youre not looking for anything? Even in that last question Im looking for something. A question begs for an answer, obviously.

Well, I suppose I'm looking for a correlation out of curiosity, but it doesn't really warrant the type of response you gave (like I was placing any importance on my "purpose" lining up with a function? I don't think so).

I don't feel like I have a "purpose", I just exist and I'm trying to survive the best way possible and making my life fun and interesting...

My sentiments are similar to Eidos'.
"To become is just like falling asleep. You never know exactly when it happens, the transition, the magic, and you think, if you could only recall that exact moment of crossing the line then you would understand everything; you would see it all"

"Angels dancing on the head of a pin dissolve into nothingness at the bedside of a dying child."

    you make your own purpose...

but I guess if you want to make it philosophical, then your purpose is to achieve happiness.

It just looks so pretty in that arranged pile. I would add a decent husband, 3-4 well-behaved children, a Nobel prize and a title (I'd be happy with "Lady").

And, US Dollars, of all currencies.

They're not worth the paper they're printed on.

Well... Unfortunately they are worth 12 times more than Estonian currency.
If it would have been piles of gold, I would have been okay with that!

Maybe they are, maybe they aren't. Everyone else sure seems to think it's worth something. I know for damn sure that if you had a million US dollar bills you sure as hell wouldn't use them to start the biggest bonfire ever.

Or maybe you are too "intellectual" for money. Cool. More for me.

Apparently you have no idea about how economics works. If the value of US currency was devalued to nothing overnight, the WORLDWIDE economy would collapse, and every other shit countrys currency would go in the toilet also.

So...it doesn't really matter so long as everyone buys into the idea that US currency is worth something...even more so because they HAVE to, because everyone knows what will happen if they don't.

Go read some history or something. Or look around you. Did you know that most things are paid for with nothing? Changes in a computer databank. Computer 1's and 0's are worth less then nothing. All money is is something to keep track of who owns what, and to what extent.
Purpose of life - destroy all stuck-up huge countries and start my own empire! Long live the empress!!! (PS! I like this title better than "lady")

Both sound pretty damn good! But I have to make my empire first! I should probably make a Star Wars movie marathon first... there would be so much to learn from Darth Vader.

Ha! Well, you got me then. I thought you were serious.

    You win this round...
Well, I wasn't there to win, but I am deeply moved by your gracious acceptance of loss

My respect (and, this is not a joke )

    For now, yes

but what makes you think the value of the USD will stay valuable?
