You said that MJ complained about his physical sensations. I don't see how that could speak against Si polr. I've seen plenty of that kind of stuff from them. But overall Si polr is imo possible to observe in EIE but it can be hard to describe. A certain weakness, dissatisfaction, uncertainty of "body sensations". Sometimes too much ("neurotic") attention on health or hygiene. I don't claim this to be a perfect description of Si polr, but something like that.

Just gotta think about what's being repressed instead of relying on these function blocks; i.e. what is consciously perceived/not consciously perceived. Dichotomies, Jungian resources, etc. The rest gets over-bloated.

I don't know how you could say that an SEI/IEI would be able to consciously be aware of Te, for example. Otherwise you're cherry-picking.

I'd say that just look at their life throughout time if possible.

If you can not find long stretches of balanced lifestyle that is satisfactory while giving off managed mood impression you are probably looking at an EIE.
