what does this mean: "We are not going to reveal the mechanism of the test – it is our know-how."
does it mean it is impossible to reveal the mechanism of the test, or does it mean that you choose not to reveal the mechanism?

that is what i was getting at. if there is an inescapable appropriation that is required in the act of understanding, this brings into question the validity of socionics in describing what is real, and hence stubborn contradictions that continue to plague me.

I imagine it could be considered intellectual property. If one had developed a particularly accurate testing method it could be marketed.
