I find him physically attractive. From his quotes he seems like someone who may rub me the wrong way, but it's hard to say without hearing his tone and understanding the context.
MM makes me sick. Mean thing to say about someone I've never met, but somewhere deep down he makes me want to tell him to back the hell off. I don't think I have ever liked a single movie he has been in ever.

lol, am I the only one who thinks he doesn't look like an asshole? He seems like he might be sort of superficial, or perhaps simply just a ditzy "pretty boy" (though now that I've watch a few more serious interviews I have to say that I'm not so sure that he's an idiot)... but I don't get an asshole vibe from him. Donal Trump, now there's an asshole.
McConaughey also seems like someone who might be easily misunderstood though... like the fact that he's so confident and popular and unaware of how he's coming off in what he's saying could make him seem like he's full of himself and an asshole when he's really not? I'm curious as to whether anyone's actually heard stories where he was unkind to someone?

Joy's right. He's not really an asshole. He's a 'good ol' boy.' And well, it's hard to like people like that. I think he rubs people like us the wrong way because he sort of embodies the spirit of anti-intellectualism.

Yeah, like I said, in the more serious interviews that I watched he didn't really seem like like "dumb jock", asshole, or pretty boy type. He seemed like a decent guy. And I think he's hot, regardless.
Maybe it's just difficult to understand those quotes when they're not taken in context.

Funny - he actually doesn't come across as 'douche-baggy' in interviews as he does in his movies. I think he's got a real Si feel about him - either that or he's on drugs. lol Funny the way he reacts to Damon's impersonation of him - like it doesn't occur to him to be offended; he's genuinely impressed with the guy's talent.
