Could you elaborate on what you mean when using those terms?
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

Some people might consider "feelings" as another way of describing emotions, and being in tune and influencing the emotional atmosphere could be a way of making and ensuring close relationships with others.

    The Craftsman (SLI)
    44% ILE, 68% LII, 50% SEI, 32% ESE, 21% SLE, 38% LSI, 41% IEI, 15% EIE, 29% SEE, 47% ESI, 53% ILI, 29% LIE, 56% IEE, 68% EII, 71% SLI and 44% LSE!

SLIs are naturally good at knowing what kinds of activities and stimuli will produce which sensations and physical states in themselves and the people around them. They are highly sensitive to sensations of internal discomfort and dissonance, or when someone or something is aesthetically out of place.

They usually take quick action to remove the discomfort, dissonance, or misplacement so that things "feel right." They dislike it when others deny them of pleasurable material objects and can get quite possessive and territorial when claiming or re-claiming them.

SLIs interact most favorably with IEEs

This is my second time trying out the test - this time with more focus (albeit a few glasses of wine). Some questions were debatable between two answers. Overall, I think that ILI is solid, at least within the parameters of this test scheme.

"ILIs often have well-developed imaginative abilities, frequently engaging in mental wanderings. They can spend a great deal of time simply thinking and may appear to live 'in their heads'. They can be prone to excessive daydreaming, creation of intricate inner worlds or universes, or considering the past or future. ILIs may even have novelistic tendencies with the ability to create intricate plots, characters and places. ILIs, however, are not necessarily inclined to share their imagination with others."

Does anyone else wonder if this description is not specifically ILI? Wishful thinking?

Yeah, it just sounds like general NTness to me, as do most INTp descriptions.

    The Seeker (ILE)

    68% ILE, 65% LII, 47% SEI, 35% ESE, 50% SLE, 50% LSI, 47% IEI, 38% EIE, 29% SEE, 35% ESI, 44% ILI, 32% LIE, 50% IEE, 53% EII, 38% SLI and 35% LSE!

The ILE is typically a “big picture” kind of person, and tends to speak in generalizations about both people and things, omitting any details he deems mundane or uninteresting. He is acutely aware of what interests and what bores him. This leads him to always search for novelty and surprising things.

At any given moment, the ILE usually has a number of projects and/or skills that he is working on developing, and stays with these interests as long as he feels they have potential for growth. The ILE gets bored easily with rote tasks that do involve lots of repetition and little innovation, although he tolerates them if they are necessary to succeed in society.

Actually, a relatively accurate test for me. Also, I'm loving the Dostoevsky picture:

    The Empath (EII)

    76% EII, 68% ESI, 59% LSE, 53% IEE, 53% LII, 53% LIE, 47% SLI, 41% ILI, 38% EIE, 38% SEE, 35% SEI, 35% LSI, 35% ESE, 29% ILE, 26% IEI, and 18% SLE!

EIIs have a strong personal value system and strive to embody their own ideals. EIIs are very attuned to the psychological atmosphere of interaction and to their own feelings towards people and things.

They treasure deep feelings of attachment and strive to deepen emotional bonds between people and harmonize relationships. When those people that the EII is close to suffer emotionally, the EII will do everything in her power to raise the emotional condition in the individual, often at the EII's expense.

I've calculated that out of all the people who have given themselves a specific type (whether through glam's selftypings page or through other means) that in the Super Special Mega Test, their result matched with their self-typing about 50% of the time.

With this test, it is slightly less than two-thirds of the time.

Of course the sample is probably too small, people may have been "informed" by the previous test, and the size of each test may have a negative influence on the result.

The test was written by a constipated individual with lousy language skills. It was designed for people with no attention span. Each question's choices were lumpen aggregates that made selecting one a matter of finding the best bad fit.

cough, I see. I'm not sure I've ever seen a Socionics test which had 16 options on each question before...8 options, maybe, but only on a small proportion of the total questions on the test. I think if you get to that level, there's a danger of the result being affected by a person being unable to decide between two type descriptions, or them being swayed by knowing what each description is supposed to represent.

Does anyone else wonder if this description is not specifically ILI? Wishful thinking?
...well the type descriptions don't affect the nature of the test at least.

That is probably a somewhat weak description, but I think compared to other descriptions such as LII, ILE and IEI, it is justified to say that this description fits the ILI better than any of the other descriptions.

The test seems to have problems with picking out subtype. I'm IEI-Fe, scored as EIE. An EIE-Ni friend of mine scored as IEI, and another SLE-Ti friend scored as LSI.

    The Mentor (EIE)

    71% EIE, 68% IEI, 59% SLE, 56% SEE, 47% ILE, 47% ESI, 47% ILI, 47% IEE, 44% LSI, 44% LIE, 38% LII, 38% SEI, 35% ESE, 32% EII, 18% LSE, and 15% SLI!

EIEs are naturally animate and passionate and are skilled at generating liveliness and excitement. They believe that people need to be emotionally involved in life, not distant or indifferent to the important things that are happening.

EIEs often hold strong views about governance and social custom, though their beliefs stem from the interests of their close emotional relationships. EIEs like to involve people in interaction and create groups based around a shared experience. They tend to try to continually broaden these groups and engage people who seem to be on the sidelines.

EIEs interact most favorably with LSIs

    2-subtype system: IEI-Fe
    8-subtype system: D-IEI-Fe
    16-subtype system: IEI-ESE

Maybe one or two additional questions on temperament would help fix it. I'm not prone to do anything though until I have both the motivation and the persuasion .

    Yeah, I think I'm closer IEI/SEI-Fe too.
