    the times that i have dressed "rebelliously" (which is rarely) it has been for pretty much the reasons described here for IEEs.

    this reminds me of this one time in high school when some friends and i decided to wear all black and do this goth thing for one day just to see what would happen, just kind of for kicks. and a lot of other kids at school got pissed off because they thought that we were trying to make some kind of statement or "oh you guys think you're so unique and special" or whatever. but it really wasn't intended to be that serious at all, lol. it was just something different to do. it had nothing to do with a statement about our identity. we ended up spending most of the day arguing with people, heh.

    normally i prefer not to stand out, though.
