Default "logic of correlation" is a misnomer?

Im starting to think so. The act of correlation would only happen when or is combined with intuition. So it makes sense that for an INTJ it seems like their dominant function correlates different elements, but im guessing its different for an ISTJ. The reason INTJs call their domiant function "logic of correlation" is because is able to weave all the mechanisms of together in a pattern. Im supposing ISTJs are not so focused on correlating in a theoritical sense like INTjs are.

    what do you think?

It should be called, Logic of Cause and Effect, thats pretty much what it is... It involves making a chain of cause/effect connections, then cutting out the middle connections and reconnecting the front to the end, taking into account how much the front affects the end. So knowing this logic, an person would go one step further and anticipate a cause and effect, and monitor how one thingt affects another until they get a internal feel for the x/y graph of the relations. When feeling mechanical correlations an N person might tense up as he observes a force on something increased, or soem kind of threatening potential increasing.
